She's very mild condition down syndrome. Every down syndrome person is mild retardation. MY younger brother if 34 and has most HORRIFIC SEVEREST DOWN SYNDROME IVE EVER SEEN. He can't speak, he is blind because he has addiction to hitting himself, he has colostomy bag, feeding tube, forgot how to eat when he was hospitalized when at his 2 birthday. He lives in nursing home I help my baby boomer generation parents to take care of Abraham just once a month when he comes home because it's too difficult for my mom to take care of him. When she was younger and before his wonderful in a big house nursing home just 10 min drive away closed down she took him home every weekend!!! because the mayor or governor shit down funding for nursing home. My mom called every single nursing home in chicago land area and suburbs and none of them would take Abe but finally a 2 hour drive away small town nursing home took him. They never give him excersize he desperately needs. He takes psychiatric medication because he obviously is miserable out of his mind he constantly hits himself to where he has bloody scars all over his forehead. And he has to be in arm cast restraints.His beautiful round forehead is horribly scarred from years of him hitting himself !!! All I can do is always pray for him and walk him when he is home and make him laugh and show him affection. He is more intelligent than he seems. My mom cried for two weeks after his birth, and went through severe depression for months after his birth. She has suffered beyond belief but it's because of her strong faith in Jesus she has not gone absolutely insane from not only about abes horrific suffering but other children's mental illness severe problems for so many years, (and tragic devastating loss of her second poor precious extremelyintelligent, talented very much loved, daughter , my younger sister in march 30, 2022!!!) but he was adorable happy baby on his 2nd birthday when he was hospitalized to have to get his colostomy bag
