Before I purchase an item I always check youtube first for reviews. But if there are no reviews and I purchase an item I will try to do a review myself. Just want to be of help to anyone out there trying to make a educated purchase and not waste their money.
@@julechaotic4138 Maybe it was less difficult than I thought. The video I watched on this model showed also removal of the back of the backseat to get the bottom panel out. Toyota could have made this a heck of a lot easier knowing that lights would have to be eventually replaced. I come to find out that this brake light suffers from a cold solder joint issue from the factory. It may need to have been a recall, but that never happened.
Agree. Helpful video. Enough for me to think of quote from Dirty Harry, "A man's got to know his limitations." It is now $300 to get the screen repaired by Nikon. But I could see a DIY mess coming if I tried myself. Thanks Carl. I know my limitations.
I just stole one of these for $14usd posted 😂 I'm sure it was probably $10 out of the factory though. Depending on the seller there can be a lot of markup
for me the lemon was the clear winner. most stable and when it came back it was doing what it should be. redcon was very good and might of just beat the lemon with range but if you was in the air you would of crashed because at least the lemon would of gone into fail safe and returned full operation when signal returned..the red con would of been a disaster. i dont care if its only 5 bucks the plane costs alot..the lemon out performs even the real top spektrum recievers at a fraction of the cost so its a no brainer. ive always thought spektrum are poor and so over priced but lemon made the dsmx technology great at a fraction of the price...shame on spektrum. always have just been a big name and you pay over the top for it. i use a radiomaster tx16s and just starting out with planes recently but 15 years ago flying helis my hitec aurora out performed any spectrum. now im pretty rusty and learning everything again after 15 year break ive bought the lemon rx and had some signal probs and some crashes. setup problems was the first crash..2nd was a signal loss but i believe it was because the way i had the antennas and reciever right above the battery. ive sinced changed that a little and its been great..just bought the satellite to add to it so that will also improve the range considerably. anyway guys thanks for the vid and im sure when you watched it back its easy to see the lemon was by far the best best overall performing reciever. thankyou and God bless you all for all that you do
@@blazinbrettuk.lionofthetri4564 thanks for your comments and welcome back to the hobby. I haven't been flying much lately. Playing around with my drone from time to time. I seriously need to get back to flying. I truly need a hand full of new 2200 3s batteries, so I'm waiting for a manufacturer to send them tor for free🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Your video helped me find the port on my 2008 Avalon, but I found it very difficult to successfully connect the compression fitting on the hose (12" long maybe) of the R134 refrigerant commonly found at superstores and auto parts stores. That low-side port is so low-positioned, right next to the hot manifold, inches away from the spinning fan... and you're supposed to connect it with the engine running?? This was the kind of a perilous self-maintenance task I suck at so badly.
Thanks for the review! Can I ask what size tennis shoes you wear compared to the skate boot? I'm trying to figure out what size would work best for me. I measured my foot but I'm just over a size 10 :/ Thank you
Since different brands of sneakers tend to run different sizes I will use a different method. I took a ruler and butted it against a wall. Stepped on the ruler with my heel against the wall. Using the MM side of the ruler I'm at the 26mm mark.
Hey Carl! We experience the same problem. And we also had a test setup in the studio to check if and why it happens. And it shuts off for no reason. A couple of years ago we didn't have this problem and I'm thinking it's due to a firmware update I did, but I'm not certain. Did you ever find a solution after this video?
No, I'm still frustrated😮! I decided to switch to another channel but I haven't had an event to test it again. You mentioned the firmware update, maybe that is where our problem started 🤔.
@@allabouthim03 Yeah, here the same! And I remember that when we bought them ages ago we didn’t have this problem… It started after the firmware update I did I think a couple of months ago before the wedding season started. I will check later if I can perform a downgrade 👌🏻 But to what version 🧐😅
Hey 👋🏽 Good review. I couldn’t hardly see the soaps you were mentioning . Well I was watching on my phone. 😂 do you have an actual list ? Didn’t see it in the description box. Since Father’s Day is coming up I would love to get the hubby some of the manly scents. Which ones you liked best. Also loved y’all chemistry together and Happy Belated Birthday to the wife.
Hey Roxy, pray you all are doing well. Thanks for the compliment, first and only video I've done with her😊. For him I would try the Bolero Sandalwood Verbena. Oatmeal-Verbena and Oatmeal-Coconut by Sugar Soap Works. You might try Hibiscus Rose by Bolero. And both of you should try the African Black Soap. Hope that helps out😁.
@@t.m9341apparently the 220 has a narrower toebox, so for this reason I'm looking at the 120 cos my feet are wide, and ive tried the 120 as a rental and it fitted beautifully to my surprise. The 120 has a synthetic inner, and is not made in the USA, that's the only other difference besides the last
I purchased something very similar yesterday. Should be here tomorrow. I'm a bit concerned about the stability when the flash is mounted. Looks like a lot of play. I have a graduation and birthday party to shoot this week. Don't need this to fall apart on me!!
@@mbroadnax1 I know the feeling when you have a shot using untested equipment. I never got to use the vh100 because the fashion show got cancelled and I haven't needed it for anything since. Good luck.
@@RobertSpiller Sorry if I confused you. Yes, turning that nut does tighten and loosen the trucks. Ensure you don't loosen the nut more than maybe half a turn at a time. Remember, it's shifting your weight, getting on your edges, that helps you to turn. Loosening the trucks and trying to move them with your hands is not a good indication of how loose or tight the trucks are. It's best to have the skates on your feet and loosen them a little at a time.
Carl, I'm a new skater so I'm in learning mode. My fames came last week, and I'm learning how to skate with them..but I have a question. How do I adjust the trucks so they can give me more pivot to make turns? These fames just have the top nut, so is that how these skates work? I don't want to break my neck or have these skates come apart.
I’ve been really struggling with the tongue junction cutting into the tops of my toes on my Riedell 220’s. I’ve researched so many things, even tried adding my own shearling. Nothing worked - until I found your video and slipped a simple sock over the tongue. Bam! Problem solved!! Thank you so much! You really made my skating more comfortable.
I couldn't find anything either! Please tell where you saw how to repair the plastic part, too! Found it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0dz154wrhHM.html
Thanks for posting the best review I've seen for these two devices! Clicked your link. They both have quality issues, but Vipers definitely have more bite and thats the real factor. The T01 is supposed to have more power than the heavy duty 195 model according to the maker. Wish you had that one to compare it to as it has more reviews and popularity, but the head is a bit too big and has only 1 light mode. Would be so nice to find a way to accuarately measure the power of all these w/o getting zapped! 😅 Pro tip, put some hot glue on the prong base so they dont fall out as many people complain later.
Good question. That falls in the category, "you get what you pay for" lol. Anything is possible, I wouldn't leave any of these lights unattended. The COB in all of them get very hot and must be kept away from anything flammable. I have NOT had any issues with it so far. I have a branded light that is brighter but I like using this one at events because it came with a remote control. My other light uses an app on my phone, I don't have time for that while shooting an event.
Thank for the tip on the skates tounge after trying the on I said this was going to be a problem and I kept watching your videos and found the solution. lol thanks
Hi Carl I just got my uptown 120 skates yesterday. They came with varsity USA wheels. I’m looking at your wheels and they’re much smaller are my wheels standard?
Glad I was able to help out a little. I started out with Sure Grip Fame skates which are extremely comfortable but not very durable. When I switched to the Riedell skates I found that lacing them up to the top was very uncomfortable. Because of their stiffness I only needed to use the first 2 sets of hooks, that made a world of difference. I have a couple new videos coming out this week concerning wheels that may be helpful, but to answer your question my wheels were only smaller because they had been worn down.
This is also functions as a warmer also. I received this as a gift and I agree that this doe mot operate any better than the fridge. Also, mine never got to the 43 degrees despite literally being on and running all night. If you removed the bottle while the machine is cooling, the cycle will also restart. I definitely wouldn’t buy this brand new or used either lol.
I have an insole that has the heel to arch profile. But that’s where it stops. It originally bought to where with heels. But I found it to be too wide. I popped it into my skate boot on top of the stock insole. It works great for foot fatigue. I do have the issue with chaffing my shin in the 120 boot. Gluing in a baby sock over the tongue hopefully be the solution. Great video
Thank you so much for this information. Stuff like this happens when you are broke and this will save a fortune. Also I appreciate that you even said you got it at Ace Hardware. Thank you again, God bless!
