I made different lists on the tcg app like "box A" , "box b", etc. When a card is sold i go to the app and find the card very easily, have them organized in alphabetical order already. Just became level 3 but was preparing before I received the new status.
Seems like a good way of sorting but i like to just sort 1 set at a time to be honest. Sit down with some youtube or Netflix and just sort i tbh find it kinda fun😅
Wondering where you got the foam? I see that they are sold online but i’m wondering if i can get some for cheap and cut them down like you did. Thank you!
I had those problems on my Ricoh fi-7160 until I put my cards horizontal in penny sleeves and took out my brake roller. Haven't had a problem so far. It should work for you. Great video!
where do you get your foam pads from? I know BCW has them, but I was wondering if there was a cheaper option. Also, what card dividers do you have in your video which you've bought in bulk?
The foam actually comes from the protective foam that came in packages from electronics I've purchased like T.V.s and other fragile things. I've heard of people use pool noodles before too. And the card dividers are linked in the description. I like to use the plastic dividers and and buy them in 200 count boxes.
@@professorburch thank you. those are great ideas on how to source the foams. Wanting to try and start selling on tcgplayer and want to keep my start up cost as low as possible.
I'm not too sure, but I remember with the Epson software in the advanced settings, there was a tab where you could adjust the margins and that worked for adding space around the edge of the cards. Good luck on trying to adjust it. I'm sure there's gotta be a way in the settings.
Majority of my listings are fixed buy it now prices. I don't auction very many of my cards. My best advice would be to look at ebay last sold prices and what people currently have them listed at and judge your prices base off last solds. There is a website you can also check out to find these, it's 130point.com. Hope that helps!
Awesome! The owner adds new singles and products every week. It's a nice game store for sure. Thanks for watching and commenting. I'm always happy to hear from other Ohio collectors here on RU-vid 😁
@@professorburch just got back into collecting, well I have been for a couple years now but really looking into grading and reaching out more in the community. I’m glad the algorithm threw me one of your videos, from one Ohioan to another you’ve got a great channel and vibe about you man!
@asmoronic9302 Appreciate the kind words! I'm down to help if you need any advice for grading or anything in general with the hobby. Reaching out and making connections is what makes this hobby so great. Idk if you use IG but my user is @professorburch feel free to reach out. Best of luck with the collection ✌️
Yes, mainly for TCGPlayer/ebay to locate the cards. Once I fill out my sets in binders, all the bulk is intended to be resold to help buy new cards. On TCGPlayer, the invoice or pick lists are laid out in alphabetical order. And for eBay, it's just easier to search for the card based on the first letter of the Pokémon name for me personally. There are people who do prefer to sort by number too and if that's easier for you, then I'd encourage it for sure.
