So, I came back to this song and listened to this after finding out that I'm going to be an auntie. My brother and his wife are having their first kiddo. It's too early to tell if Little Bean is a boy or a girl but I keep on smiling as I think about all the possibilities for this child.

“At least I could do something right” honestly to me this fits into the canon story, because I totally see Bruno trying to see the futures of his nieces and nephews and trying to help them along the right path. Out of all the kids he was in contact with (remember Antonio wasn’t born yet) Mirabel probably had the easiest life, so Bruno felt like he finally truly helped someone in the family.
I keep imagining Mirabel was going to walk into where these three are having the conversation to ask Julieta to help make some food and stops before entering and hides and hears the hole thing. I imagine Dolores, Luisa, Isabela, and Mirabel are having a girl hang out which is why Mirabel came to ask for some help making food. Mirabel runs back and tells them what she heard. The other three calm her down and comfort her. When dinner time comes I imagine it will be a well disaster that turns into the family getting closer.

i found this song some months ago, back at the height of Encanto and i loved it, but i had completely forgotten about it. My grandfather, who i was really close with and loved dearly, passed yesterday, and the lyrics of this song were playing in my head all morning.
