@ScottBritton it's reading between the lines and knowing the people...9 people, I think they're all buddies and then they plan to promote it after. I just personally know a lot of surrounding people, and people that aren't connected to them that have tried to be, and the "sample" is very small and similar. I have a whole plan how to optimize these studies, but I don't think they really want to. I've sent several of them an article I published, they don't even bother to read it. One said females are "troublesome." There's just a lot of reasons for suspicion.
Rick Strassman is a psycho and a fraud. He’s only done DMT once ever, when Terence McKenna gave it to him and at the same time told him to do the studies and how to do the studies. He used to give people morphine until they stopped breathing so he could narcan them over and over in medical school. If you read the spirit molecule with any discernment, you’ll see he hated it and scared the crap out of himself with it. Listen to Jordan Peterson talk about it. He saw how he scared himself. Rick has very little experience with altered states, period. Read his later books. He is so scared that he’s gone deep into the Hebrew Bible. He hates women and Zen Buddhism and attacks them because he feels they rejected him. Doubt he’s ever had a “mystical” experience.

Thank you so much for a very interesting, informative and insightful interview. The questions are often as important as the answers - and the questions to a huge topic were very pertinent & succinct making it well contextualised. Charlie's responses were fascinating, very few teachers can blow my mind and he did. He explains his journey and the concepts so well - so that those of us who know little about LD can learn so much, and clearing up the confusion between different states & practices while keeping it direct and impactful. I never felt overly interested in attempting LD, now after watching this interview I'm very curious (which is probably the best energy to start with). Thank you both for a great start to my long weekend.
What a beautiful and loving topic. As I listened to a portion of this, I blessed my CSF and gave it permission to flow freely the way God designed it to. Had NO idea CSF was created from amniotic fluid. Since water holds memory, it makes perfect sense that what we all experienced in the womb would remain with us today, and that we can heal old wounds by loving our CSF. Thank you for this interview!
I know is not the correct way to say it, but i think im close to the awakening experience, (is already here and i see it, but i quite didint integrate yet), i hope one of these days wake up with an eckhart smile in my own face, knowing that acctually hapeens to others gives me courage. This is so cool. Definitely walked a parallel path. Raised Roman Catholic, walked away from it, had a serious health crisis in my early 30s, “got saved”, went to seminary and became a pastor for about 10 years, before finally leaving religion altogether and gradually becoming a bit of a “spiritual synthesizer” myself. Now I read/listen to as much as I can about spirituality from a variety of perspectives. Now I have a few more authors to check out!

@@AnyaLightHealing thanks Anya. I don’t know to be honest, but I think if it could, it would be far less than alcohol or psychedelics. It seems to have a bigger nervous system impact
Karma was not created by a God of love as most people think but by beings who have the free will to exploit humans as humans exploit animals on earth. Karma is a suffering mechanism of the soul which can never be completed in a flawed body and a flawed world.
There is a flaw in Sean's suggestion that if some people perceive him with love, and some think he is an asshole, it means he is inconsistent. There are people who loathe the Dalai Llama, I am pretty sure it's safe to say he is consistent.
@@Nikki.Nasvytis interesting idea. I think most people judging others is their own projection of their own stuff more than anything else. This is often influenced by the behavior of the person being judged but can also be independent. Not sure how that idea holds there

All that matters is how much you've loved and how much you've served? Well, I haven't done much of either, so I guess God will love you two more than He does me.
I've never tried DMT but other substances that brought me to a realm where I would meet and see intelligent beings. I could even call on ones I knew. Some were good and some were bad. They always attached themselves to me through the soul of my right foot and would need my permission to m love further. It was like a quid pro quo, they would communicate if I gave them some of my energy. They presented themselves as a rainbow energetic light in my field of vision. They would show objects to communicate messages or even sacred geometric shapes. Some of them were so powerful they could alter my state of being to that which I requested (I asked what would if feel like to be a millionaire and free and I was given that state for about 1 minute) (I would ask to be deaf and then I would go deaf for a minute). Crazy!!!!! I can go on and on and I would love to discuss this with somebody. I'm completely sane outside of substance use and take no meds.
I appreciate the thread of Taoism running through this all. We've become so lost in the wrong story in modern society and seem to just be doubling down on these narratives. Nothing about the culture and system of capitalism is in any way in line with the Tao. We are likely to bring about our own destruction or create a true dystopia if we don't realize this quickly, especially in the age of AI. The subtle hints of nature are still around us, trying to creep in and awaken us to what's really important. But we're still playing with numbers and acting like it isn't going to come back and bite us in the rear. We are not ready for such powerful technology on any sort of wisdom or spirit level. I really hope I'm wrong about that and somehow the story can flip into something truly compassionate and based on the dignity of consciousness, both human and not. The idea that we have all this technology and yet still grow sentient animals in factory farms doesn't give me much optimism as to how bad things can get for us if we continue down this path of stratification in society. Anyway, enjoyable podcast! I'll look into some more. I hope you consider some of these things and let me know your thoughts

@ScottBritton cool, I looked it up and will check into it some more! Look up George Thompson and his videos with master Gu for some cool interviews that help get the "ism" out of the Tao.... Also, if you're into chill electronic music at all, some of my favorite things to listen to when I'm out hiking or running in nature are "Alan Watts chillstep" specifically the one on Taoism, or similarly Tao De Ching chillstep, also here on RU-vid. They really help me to break the thought patterns and loops I can sometimes find myself stuck in. Cheers
One of the earliest things I have told myself in words is I don't want to be an age with 2 numbers, be paying bills with 3 or 4 numbers and not know what shapes are. at 25 years old, I; looking at plants' geometry, wondering what the smallest shapes that can come together are, I googled, smallest hexagon sphere; only to be told that hexagons dont make pentagon balls or triangle pyramids, but only 2D; hexagons only tile flat. I researched scanning electron microscope images and found that atoms most harmonious stack in hexagonal formations, with triangular gaps; while picturing hexagon rocks and honeycomb in beehives, I put 2 and 2 together and saw that I was looking at the second dimension in space. The same way I could picture squares creating a cube or triangles making a triangle pyramid, I could now picture flat as the same being hexagon for the number 6; meaning that flat also has 2D as a title, making 2D 6 and 7 when counting particles that make up 1 hexagon. 2 = 6 and 7 and 2-6-7 means flat generally. 6 always. (unless it is a irregular hexagon, then it curves all over the place, that's partly a joke, it would curve in at least one place.) at 25 years old I finally understood the foundation I stood on here in the 3rd dimension. I understood how plants strayed from their flat foundation to create the form they exist in here in 3D. it was and remains beautiful. I mention because like I said we live in 3D+ and if we want to explore higher dimensions we should know and remember where we come from. (I have since asked over 100 people likely over 200 now, about whether they knew about hexagon meaning flat; 2D, most including my parents have told me that 2D is more of a concept to them, not an actual shape; hearing over and over that our foundation is a concept to the majority of who I spoke to was and keeps being surreal.) Follow the path of light. Ps, since everything is vibrating; there is twice as much neutral as there is there positive or negative; watch how people stray and return to the neutral we exist in.
