I have not heard of an opening date on Dellshire yet but I will definitely have videos on the construction process. As soon as I hear, I will also include it in a video 😉
I already booked a stay a Dellshire. I'm just sleeping underground until it's built. I had no idea this was coming lol, I'm beyond excited to stay here.
I’m typically not a nostalgic person, but I’m just not really that interested in the dells anymore. I’m 41 and a Milwaukee native and have been going there my whole life. It’s so bleak and boring now. We rarely go back

Hey Maverick just watched your video and I was happy to hear about all that is happening in the Wisconsin Dells it’s quite close to me since I know all the properties you were talking about. I have told you that I’m very familiar with the Dells and Rivers Edge was one of my parents favorite places to eat. Did you know that if you go eat at the Rivers Edge on your Birthday you get a percentage of money taken off your bill.
Back in the 60's, Big Boy would advertise in the newspaper for waitresses. Their ad stated" only good looking girls need to apply". My girlfriend , now my wife of 52 years, we would go to Big Boy's after our high school football games. We would both order the Big Boy hamburger, and split an order of onion rings and she would order a cherry coke and I would order a lemonade. The total bill was less then $5.00.
Wow... you can barely get an order of onion rings alone for only $5.00. That is funny how they used to advertise for the help. Something tells me they can use that same line to recruit waitresses today. Thanks so much for watching & sharing your story! 🙂

They are actually building a road that will connect from the parkway to Clara. It will be called Olympus Road. I am not sure why Mt. Olympus is tearing down the motel as it looks like the new road will be next to it. But those were very old buildings that needed a lot of TLC. I will tag on some current construction projects in the Dells in Saturday's video. 😉

We’ve done Christmas at Kalahari its gorgeous wanted to try the wilderness to try something new but wont now that I see they do not have enough Christmas decor. Great video!
If you visit the Dells during the holidays, it's worth checking out all of the resorts as they all seem to do a little something different every year. My favorites are Kalahari and Great Wolf for Christmas decorations. 😉
No big vacation this year. We are making plans to visit Wisconsin dells next June from western PA. We have been enjoying your videos learning about the area.

Hello Maverick and Kelly - Both your sandwiches looked delicious. I do not like swiss cheese. I would ask them to substitute the provolone cheese instead for the French Dip. I wish I lived closer, I would love to meet you both. Have a wonderful day.
Hi Rita, the Swiss cheese was not my favorite but it didn't ruin my lunch (too much). Next time, I will change it for provolone. If I am ever in your neck of the woods I will let you know. It would be nice to meet you too 😀
