hey nice video. didn't know yall were coming out with clutch kits. I have a 2016 rzr xp1000 on 34s with a tune 25 percent gear reduction. I ordered a clutch kit from super atv because I was having a little belt slip at higher speeds (50 plus). not too noticeable but it would throw a check engine light every once in a while. I ordered the kit over a year ago and finally got around to installing it. my problem is the kit from super atv didn't come with a helix and mine has a crack in it. should I get a stock replacement helix, get an aftermarket helix, or get a new secondary. secondary has slight wear from square pucks. allready bought hunter works rollers. secondary has had a couple spots on the sheaves about a half inch long since machine was almost new. hasn't ever blown a belt. what do you think? I have a busy that replaced his secondary on his 2018 and I could probly steel his helix or I would by a good aftermarket if reasonable ish. thanks

Just found the new channel. Awesome!! I just did my 21% low only reduction and your clutch kit last week. Have 1 ride on it so far, and so far it's GREAT!! Very excited for this setup and to get more miles on my machine now. Feels like a whole new machine!!

I have a question i have a razor i bought aftermarket assassins primarily and secondary and they actually set it up so i bought a new polaris belt and put the new clutches on and belt and it moved like a automatic no hesitation at all was real happy with it but started making noise it still had good throttle control but noise went away and it feels like stock again you have to put her to the floor just to move it im really disappointed counting belt i got 1700 in it and its the same as it was everyone tells me polaris is making a harder compound belt now any advice would be helpful i don't know anything about the clutching

Is the 2020 and 2021 Pro XP clutch different than the 22? I did the gear reduction already and clutching seems to be great on stock. Am not running a tune...

Are you running bigger tires and crawling up rocky hills / obstacles and not just dirt? Had plenty of rzr’s have a 22 pro xp 2 and just got a 23 pro xp4 i will say my 23 hauls ass in low and up hills with stock 30” carnivores but i know once i put my 32 zillas on and go to a park like windrock my belt would slip like no other. ( harder rock crawls)Found myself going 30-35 in low gear.. thats no good for rocks and especially if its loaded down with people

@javadose317 Yes, mine is an XP2, has 35" tires, and mostly dirt trail crawling... she's running great in my terrain, but I could see how an XP4 in heavy rocks would need clutch work done.

Real easy when you don’t have to play guessing games on the weight setup. It’s ready to go right at the recommended setup. Fine tune after a good ride if needed

Good luck on the parts page/channel love the ride videos, watch the tech videos for knowledge myself but since I bleed yami-blue they do not directly apply... other than the principles, bigger tires need lower gears etc (duh). I helped a RZR Trail (I think) at blue holler a few weeks back. Belt broke in a way I have never seen. The inner and outer layers 'delaminated' the outer, widest part was still in one piece but the narrower taper had separated and some of it shredded. He had just made a long steep climb. Asked how old the belt was, he said that ride, was the 1st ride on the belt. Tires were not huge 30's maybe? either cheap brand or defective belt. I just find it hard to believe polaris has not done more to work on belt longevity. It can't be like they do not see the warranty claims (or attempts) and the numerous service records.

Thanks for hanging around! It’s always good to know a little about all the machines. Polaris doesn’t make a bad belt imo. It’s just their clutching is so bad. Especially compared to all the other brands out there. Canam and krx don’t seem to have any real bad clutching straight off the dealer lot. Ya they get too hot they’ll start to come apart. They get too hot and start heating up the clutch and then the aluminum dust from the sheaves with the heat of the belt will send a fireball out the vent! Been there and seen it happen lol

Wanted to say thank you I have a 21 turbos s 4 seater Wasn’t sure about the 50% gear reduction in low. Was worried about loss of speed and how it would affect the ride all together. Well I did it and can’t believe how much better it is! I’m on 35’s and with the 50% in low 20 mph is very comfortable cruising the main trails still and it does over 30 mph in low too. Really shines on the big obstacles and hills. Defiantly recommend.

I don't live far from you guys across the the river. Your gear reduction video enabled me to do it myself on my Pro XP. I'm really looking forward to trying out your clutch kit. I'm long travel and 35s. I really think your clutch kit would benefit my buggy and style of riding. We're headed to Tackett Creek in a couple weeks for a weeks stay. Hopefully you have them available before we head out.

That’s gonna be a tight time frame to hit😕 Super glad to help ya on the gear install! How do you like the long travel? We’ve been thinking about throwing it on one of our buggys

@Crash City Off-Road it made a world of difference. Between the long travel, 35s, and gear reduction, it's a completely different machine. With your clutch kit, it could be a real game changer with the slower, more technical riding we do. Keep me posted on the clutch kit.
