The years I worked for Rev's Funeral Parlor were the best years of my life. I "observed" how other funeral homes worked with families. The main focus should be FAMILY FIRST. That means going that extra mile. That doesn't mean standing around the foyer of the church during the service. One employee should be with the family during the duration of the service ready to assist them if necessarily .

A few years ago my friend died Mr Ephraim he was such a great man all ways singing hymys if you had a bad day 5 minutes around him your day would be better at his funeral I was the only white man there and I didn't feel out of place I sat next to one of his great grand daughtes. We talked about how I admire him and everything. She asked me if I felt out of place I said why would I he was my friend but his funeral was spirit filled after it was over his sons and family all thanked me for coming I told one of his sons we are all the same. We just sometimes have different paint jobs
