TrollfesT was formed in 2003 by John Espen Sagstad (Mr.Seidel) and Jostein Austvik (Trollmannen). TrollfesT members bring with them not only a wealth of experience and the skill to make use of instruments like accordion, bouzouki and the saxophone, but also a sense of diversity that allows the band to create a sound distinctly its own. Whilst "True Norwegian Balkan Metal" goes some way towards describing the TrollfesT sound, hinting as it does at the extreme end of metal, with a good pinch of local traditional folk - it doesn't really go the whole way towards capturing the sense of fun and sheer exuberance with which the band tackles everything it does, whether it involves playing in the studio or performing live.
I prefer your guys' own animations and videos over the AI imagery. It would suit you better to keep using your own animations (Kjettaren mot strømmen) and art over the AI but the song is fantastic regardless. I'm hoping this was just a one-off instance of it. Been a fan of you guys since 2010 and it would be a shame to see y'all fall down the AI pit especially since your other music videos are phenomenal (Professor Otto and Dance Like a Pink Flamingo for example)
Fitting to use AI image generation to be an example for the message of smoldering failure. Can't be tacking that onto your usual animations (which are better than this). Song is fantastic though
The combo of Satire, Nostalgia, and brutality made me both laugh, cry, and thrash within a period of time that was in actuality only 277 seconds, but seemed waaaay longer. This rules!!

I saw Trollfest in Pittsburgh maybe 10 years ago. I hadn't heard of them prior but I was glued to their set. I was blown away by them and how entertaining their live show was, not to mention how awesome their music was as well! Afterwards once they were back at their merch table I stopped to say Hi and the whole band was really friendly and humble, totally rad dudes and I'm glad I got to meet them!
Still owe you guys a drink from the Cambridge, MA show back in late March. Haha! can't wait for the next round whenever you return for a North America tour!
