Granted, these are pretty inefficient unloading cranes too, nothing like a Hullett or something, kinda surprised this place didn't have some set up if they were regularly servicing ships that didn't have built-in unloaders.
I had no idea one of the old bulk steamers was named after the old Inland Steel baron himself, but then that would figure... Still good to know that much of our steel is still made here in the US!

I miss those days when i worked up at Mackinaw City and go over to the island from time to time and get to be that close to these espically when they come up close to the island. and when we go out on the lighthouse cruise and see them espcically when we got to be close to the USCGC Mackinaw
