This channel provides you with videos of my encounters with various speed enforcement devices (radar, photo radar, laser etc.) and provides insight on how radar detectors and laser jammers can be used as effective countermeasures against these threats. All videos are shot in the Edmonton and Sherwood Park area in Alberta, Canada.
I will also post any stupidity I see on the roads.
I use a Valentine One (V1) radar detector as well as a Blinder Xtreme M25 laser jammer.
Tried braking hard in a 5litre mustang lx 5spd modified Was doing 270...ticket showed 222kmph...on highway 2 Edmonton/Calgary 465$ fine, 45 day licence suspension..plus demerits Got it on video but it’s 1990 hi 8 480 p. Have to transfer the tapes to digital , if they haven’t lost data from being so old
I used the driver up front and a cheaper unit in the back window they never talked to each other even when they were next to each other in Michigan some agencies used RDD to see if you had a detector and decided to find a reason to ticket you, I used it for almost 2 years before it died
on hp-905 you have visual red led and sound + swich with 4 steps - 1. parking sensors (yes you can use the system as parking sensors) - 2. only detection and sound/visual - 3. jamming and sound/visual - 4. on/off system
From Canada’s Worst Driver 14: Running a red light in Ontario costs you $260 CAD if you’re caught. Plus, a $60 CAD victim surcharge, and $5 CAD for office expenses, totalling $325 CAD. Oh, and there’s three demerit points.
Great job. I don't understand this new norm that some drivers have. On 141 Street and Ellerslie SW, drivers can't wait for the light. They start running the red one after another.
he thought he'd be saving 5 seconds of driving time, yet he prolonged it by like 5 minutes and got a ticket in addition. the longest distance between two points is the shortcut
GM vehicles are doing this now, especially the suv models its become pointless to use my detector anymore in my area as it goes off almost everywhere from how many people have these vehicles. Not to mention my 2016 Cruze itself sets it off from the blindspot radar and backup radar. Manufacturers will need to create detectors based off ARM cpu's that literally analyze the radar signature to beat this problem. Our old "analog" detectors we have used since the 80's are becoming completely obsolete.
You should complain this to valentine site and say it fail on you. I was about to purchase it too but I was quite disappointed after it detect afterward from watching your video.
Ultrajamz In most places, yes. But that's why you turn them off. Jammers have a "parking sensor" option, haha. You turn it off and it's just a parking sensor. :)
If any of you drove in Europe red lights are positioned right above your car at the intersection ,could be a tourist visiting Canada driving a relative's car?
I can't handle the sudden explosion of population this dumbass province experienced in the last decade. "Ya, being crowded is so cool man, I'm gonna have me some more babies!"
