Just got to drive one into the shop I work at, genuinely was so cool, just further makes me want a JDM import Edit: I’m assuming MMC means Mitsubishi motor company
Maybe first time I got behind the wheel was in this 1 *in something other than a Ferrari anyways lol after taken to states custody as a child smh/thankgod from money or I’d have been worse fucked lol
I bought one new back in '79 when I was 18. Loved the car, but that particular car was notorious for transmission problems ( recalls for sure ). You just dont see them anymore, but I sure would like to find one again that is in decent shape and runs! Fun memories!
Well done for being honest! Too many dealers wouldn't even mention what they knew what was wrong with it. Some would just say 'gets hot, don't know why'
There is no pump for the battery, that just the fan running at high speed because there is an issue with the battery pack, the red triangle is illuminated indicating a severe malfunction, this car likely need a bew hybrid battery pack.
But the two barrel is 230 HP so a good clean up in tune-up and a four barrel you can easily pull 250hp. Nothing bigger than a 550/600cfm tuned. I would definitely drop the pan and adjust the bands on the A904 trans that's in it. Simple band adjustment on both front and rear bands and fluid filter change. And check level on gear oil.... The rest of it's just brakes suspension check replace as needed parts and good tires and enjoy ....great car🤘
