things I find interesting - Guitars, Computers and music technologies. I like history, archeology and travelling to unusual places and learning new things.
@@ThomasKurpiewski Well done Tommy it's a quick fix. Imagine paying £700 for a guitar and you still have to put a bit of work into it? Not uncommon these days 🎶🎸👍
@@glengrimm4075 Yep it's a common problem with a simple solution. New motherboard from a reputable camera repair shop. If it's any consolation my canon 70d is still working perfectly fine. Good luck 📸👍
Hey there! I got 2TB version of the same HDD. Is it normal me to feel like something is moving in HDD when I flip or move the HDD? The performance is great, and health also seems good. But concerned if this internal component moving could cause any defects??
@@mohit3736 It's normal to feel movement. The hard drive is mechanical and spinning very fast 7200 rpm. Don't worry about it but thanks for asking. I'm sure other people will have the same experience. 👍
@@molometer Thanks a lot! I know it vibrates when in use because it spins, but I was just concerned about the movement when it's off. I saw some teardown videos, and it's like an internal HDD inside an external HDD case. So probably the internal HDD isn't fixed well, which would be fine as must be moving in the plastic case a bit nothing else.
@@mohit3736 Thanks for clarifying your thoughts. It's possible that a screw may be loose inside the casing? It shouldn't be making any noise when it is not connected to a computer?
@@molometer that seems to be the case, either a screw or the rubber that holds the HDD in place is loose. Not that it would affect me, as my HDD is quite stationary for the most part and I won't ever take it out of home.
I miss the days when every big box store had a demo guitar, Same with keyboards. My first guitar was a red lyon by Washburn I bought at target. Still have it but it's become a Frankensteins monster of parts. It started when I snapped the neck like a fool. Switched pickups off an Ibanez installed a different bridge and put a Kramer neck on it.

I wouldn't know. I just gave it to the repair shop and they sourced the motherboard. It did take a couple of weeks for the part to arrive. Good luck with your camera. 📸👍
@@molometerthey are, this is the only collegiate fight song to be a top 100s pop hit, it is the fight song of the University of Maine’s flagship campus, at Orono. We actually have on display Rudy Vallée’s saxophone at our Alumni Hall!
@@molometer”fill the steins to dear old Maine, should till the rafters ring! Stand and drink a toast once again, let every loyal Maine man sing! (Drink drink drink!) drink to all the happy hours, drink to all the careless days, drink to Maine our Alma Mater, the college of our hearts, always!!” ❤❤❤
@@stephaniewinslow33 That's fascinating to hear. Everyone loves a fight song. 🎶👍🏼 Edit. Omg I've just watched the virtual tour of the University of Maine and the tune is playing 😂😂👍👍 amazing.
@@stephaniewinslow33 Thanks so much Stephanie for the lyrics to this old classic tune. Much appreciated. I had never heard them before. I'll check out the Maine team and have a listen. 😘😘🎶👍
Mine came yesterday and the AC power is not turning it on. I used batteries but as soon as you put them in it turns on and won't turn off until I pull them out. Switching batteries in and out every time I want to play isn't optimal. So I may just send it back and ask for a replacement. The pedal, when working, sounds great! I am pretty new at pedals so feedback if I missed something is appreciated.
I have this and the Zoom GX4 effects processor. Lots of fun but confusing at the same time. After seeing this amazing video it lit a fire under me to give it another go. Wanting to put it in my pedal lineup but still confused where it might go. Thanks again for your video!
@@vegasdan9820 It works okay but it cannot work as well as a micked up acoustic guitar. The tele would probably sound good but as I haven't got a telecaster...yet lol I can't say for certain? It might be worth getting one and try a few things with it. If it works great if not you can always return it. This little mooer ge100 is full of options and the more I use it the more it gives. I will be doing some more videos on this device at some point as there are many great questions from people about it.
@@AnthonyGodinho Thanks Anthony for popping in and checking out the Val d'Orcia video. It's one of my favourite recent videos as it combines both photography, art and a bit of history not to mention the fantastic Gladiator movie location. I'm doing okay thanks and hope you are too? I just spent 2 months touring Europe and it was amazing. Italy's food is out of this world delicious. 🍷🧀👍🏼
@@molometer Great to know all is well with you mate. That's wonderful you got to spend a couple of months touring Europe. Yeah, all well here, thanks. Keeping busy as usual, but trying to make the best of the tail-end of summer :)
Interesting, useful and clear…now to learn them…thanks Michael…and good to learn about not pressing too hard and why and more about frets…all a new language
@@cassandragaisford2777 It's a steep slope at first glance but you will find that the more you play the easier it gets...until you reach the plateau lol. Don't worry about the plateau it's just letting you know that you are in fact improving fast. 🎶🎸👍🏼
@@D-8-Tone2 Yes it works great and it’s easy to test it too. I recently made a video on this very topic. Check it out. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wIEecoCfBWg.htmlsi=MV3EKS5V1tqdTVud You can also just play a note with your phone and guitar and see if it rings true. There are lots of tuning apps alternatively play a note on a piano or keyboard same thing.
@@cassandragaisford2777 Hello Cassandra and thank you for your interest. It’s 6 chords that the elevator operator gave me on a slip of paper as we ascended the then named Sears Tower in Chicago back in 1979! Wow how time flies? I might do a video on it if you like? Trying to explain it via a text could be a bit difficult for a new player to follow as if uses some odd chord progressions and inversions. It’s much easier to show than tell. 🎶🎸👍
@@cassandragaisford2777 I'll put on the list of guitar videos to do. I'm currently working through a lot of footage from my recent European tour but it will get done eventually. 🤦♂️😂👍
@@cassandragaisford2777 Yep we’re human beings with feelings and we can express ourselves with music. All of the greatest music ever written is not strictly on the beat of a metronome. Can you imagine Hendrix doing anything in time to a metronome? 🤦♂️😂👍🎸
