Mageba is doing great to safeguard structures against Earth quakes. Great Engineering. Please consider my idea of adding Earth quake safety chambers for apartment residents. They can simply sit in and fasten seat belt.there will be oxygen mask,water food,first aid kit,scout whistles,mega phones etc as part of kit. My idea is free to work by any one willing to work for safety of lives in case of bigger Earth quake. People along with vessel will remain safe and rescue teams can then take the vessels out from debris....th design will have heavy duty hooks to evacuate vessel. Full design provision of trash bags and it's disposal in a side pit...peep hole pro vision like door eye...to see outside after quake is Over..... Need of vessel....we till date cannot predict time duration location and intensity of future quakes. Protecting humans this way will be foolproof. Any one can work on my idea only condition is to honour.....idea of Earth quake safety vessel is originally conceived by sudhir kumar jain ,Mayur vihar 1, This idea can be seen in my book....ideas and inventions by sudhir kumar jain on Amazon KDP. Para cualquier sistema de aislamiento debe evitarse el efecto de fuerzas de tensión en los aisladores, con lo cual no existe riesgo de levantamiento o volteo de la superestructura. Ahora, para sistemas tipo péndulo, en el análisis estructural avanzado deben considerarse registros sísmicos con las 3 componentes sísmicas (2 horizontales y 1 vertical) para garantizar que no existan fuerzas de tensión. Al considerar sismos de fuente cercana (que pueden producir movimientos trepidatorios), los registros sísmicos utilizados en el análisis estructural deben mantener las características de estos sismos.

Te refieres a un trepidatorio y en estos casos si es un problema a tener en cuenta ya que esos sistemas funcionan de mejor manera en los oscilatorios

Normally the life cycle of this isolators is around 60 years. For ease of replacement, the devices are installed using bolted connections. By using lifting devices (e.g. hydraulic jacks), it is possible to replace them by lifting few millimeters and unbolting the devices.

@@magebagroup That seems like very hard job, I think that there is not a lot of space under the building, and such a hydraulic tool weighs up to 500 kilos. Whether there is enough space below for some kind of forklift? Thank you for your answer and your time.

It looks suspiciously like a bearing cup from a double shear beam loadcell, on steroids! Trouble is, with the buildings, you have a lot of weight concerntrated in a very small area. As a result, you would need some serious hydraulic jacks to lift the building up a few millimetres to get the system changed. The only thing that worries me with this system is when the ground rises or falls. How does the system cope with vertical movement?

@@111jacare Thanks for your interest in our isolation system. Yes, we have hydraulic jacks that allow the replacement of anti-seismic isolators. The vertical component of the earthquake is also considered in the design of the device, in the respective NEd,max and NEd,min (as defined in EN 15129). In most cases the vertical component is not strong enough to create temporary gaps or shocks between the components of our isolators. While in structures where uplift forces are expected, uplift restraints are also foreseen

disculpen... un comentario a los conocedores y a los expertos.... en el supuesto caso, para que un edificio soporte un terremoto de 9 ó 9.5 en la Escala de Richter se puede construir un Edificio que soporte ese tipo de escalas de terremotos ??? se puede construir un Edificio que soporte un terremoto extremadamente fuerte de quizá 9.5 en la Escala de Richter o quizá más....??? gracias por sus comentarios y saludos desde Ecuador.
