Great to see you back mate. Those lanes early in the vid are some of the one's on our last trip (Three Counties vids). Always nice to see the lanes from someone else's perspective. 👍
I've had an intermittent cdl issue for the past few months, thought I had found the problem but obviously not. I do have the lovely 3 amigos on at the moment, parts are on order for that repair. With Darren in Carolina he currently has no cdl (trying to get hold of a decent box for a decent price) and I'm pretty sure he said that his tc is temperamental due to a intermittent abs fault. As for the other 3 in the convoy I wouldn't know to be honest It's what makes the lanes more fun in some cases

There are a few bits of essential kit that is often overlooked when one goes out laning.... A sledgehammer, a lump hammer, and a big old chisel. That rock that fouled the axle on the red D2 is an obstruction. It is within your legal rights to abate the obstruction that is blocking your progress.
I do keep those things bar a sledge hammer in the boot but due to the weather co stantly changing it was pretty much the case of get out the issues and get off the lane. Didn't know it was within our right, will have to bear that in mind for the future!
@@td5adventuresuk Well anything that blocks the legal right of way is subject to abate. To my mind and understanding at least, a rock fouling the axle and stopping you progressing is just the same as a tree blocking the way. But you did the right thing to just go back given how up and down the weather was. That's the big shame of solid axles... they do foul on things.
the bit about nails in the water... its so careless, stupid, petty and spiteful. That is criminal damage! Not to mention that somebody could maybe be riding their horse there, or going for a walk with their kids. What would those people say if their spiteful little trick ended up with a kid getting a nail through his or her foot? Or a horse gets a nail and then throws the rider who ends up injured. Literally anything could happen. And then, even if you phone the police to report it, all you get is "We haven't got any evidence to do anything about it." Great video though, enjoying it!
The 1st lane is one of my favourite Shropshire lanes, we were going to do it Friday but ran out of time. Do you have a problem with your TC? It doesn't look to be working quite as it should.
Yes matey having issues with the cdl more than anything it's engaging then disengaged. Not having enough momentum was the biggest key factor I think but will be digging into the issues over the next couple weeks. Give us a shout when you're next up this way (you'll get to see your old motor 😋)

Cool video. Hungerford Hill has always been a bit over grown in the summer months. I was up there about 3 or 4 weeks back, I was expecting it to be worse than it was to be honest.
