We as a family my mum nan and brother would watch Grizzly Adams at 1pm on a Sunday Afternoon. Great Times. I was born in March 1963 so was a kid in the 1970s.
I saw this too on BBC4 Top of the Pops. I do remember this programme as I was born March 1963 so was about 7 or 8 when Grizzly Adams was on telly on Sunday Afternoon at 1pm.
I was a child when this programme was on TV in England on a Sunday Afternoon at 1pm. There has NEVER been another programme like it since. Better TV programmes better times. Such happy memories.

Gott bin ich froh das ich Ende der 80er Jahre geboren bin, ich möchte mit der derzeitigen Generation nicht tauschen und teilweise tut sie mir leid ohne es böse zu meinen, Katastrophe.

ich bin 66 geboren , als kleenes KIND in der Zoone in der Nähe von Dräääsden wenn das Wetter und der EMPFANG mitspielte konnte ich es auch sehn , ich wahr jedesmal begeistert
When I was very young, we lived in Los Angeles, California, USA. Every time I saw a new building or house being built, I would cry because the dairy farms were selling out to property development. This was my favorite series, and I cried every time I heard the this theme song. Little did I know back then, that in the mid-late 70's, -still a little kid-my parents and I moved to the very country this series was filmed in. There's a beautiful vista point on the way up a mountain to the town where 'Big Foot' is most famous; it is that vista's beautiful scenery that is in most of the opening and closing pictures. We then lived on a farm with the mountains all around and a small river running through the properties. I loved playing with the animals. Especially my horses and kids (baby goats). Hearing the mountain lions (also known as bob cats) loudly growl in the early evening was a majestic sound I loved to hear. Of course all the animals (goats, sheep, cows, horses, etc..) had their own space in a barn, the chickens were closed in, the rabbits hutches tightly covered at night, and our dogs kept watch over everything.
Childhood memories........ Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. Movie Call of the Wild. Grizzly Adams with this wonderful song ending each episode and refilling your "hope tank" for the week ahead.
Macht mich schon arg traurig. Mein Sohn wird diese schöne Zeit von früher nicht kennen lernen. Ich hoffe für ihn ist das mal so schön wie es für uns war.

Sunday August 4th 2024 Portsmouth England. I am still listening to this lovely piece of music from my childhood. We as a family loved watching Grizzly Adams on Sunday Afternoon at 1pm eating our lunch.
