We Instagram message each other often, and have hung around together in group settings at church events. I definitely want to get to know her better. I want to ask her out to lunch/dinner, but not sure if I should be more casual or be more upfront “hey I have interest in you”. Any advice?? Thank you!!

Hey, i came to ask you.. i am 14 years old, and i am Christian, and i have a crush, and i have been trying to avoid these feelings and thoughts, and i have beeb just discerning like... i'm only 14, i don't know even if that's God's will, but when i try to ignore him or these thoughts i see him around and coincidences happen and i begin to have more feelings for him and i begin to do like things to look prettier and i'm conscient that's wrong... but like how do i balance all these things out? I'm just questioning wether it's okay for me to just feel ,as long as i'm not adultering or fornicating that's good right?
Hi! I think 14 is a pretty normal age to have a crush. In this situation I would pray and ask God to help you to be balanced about it so that the crush doesn’t consume all your thoughts. Another thing to keep in mind is because you’re young it is likely you’ll meet other guys you may end up have a crush on later in life so you don’t want to get too carried away in this situation. Also wanting to look prettier is normal I think we all do like a self check when we find an attractive man lol because we want to look nice. The issue comes when you start completing changing your appearance or yourself as a person! Just ask God to help you be balanced and protect your heart!
Personally I don’t think there’s anything wrong with finding someone physically attractive but the issue comes when they’re physically attractive and we overlook issues they may have because they’re handsome. It all comes down to balance!

I am 18 and dealing with my first crush in a while and I have been praying for God to take away these feelings, but I realized God is allowing me to feel these feelings so that I can notice what unhealthy habits and behaviors I have when dealing with my crush. I don’t know if this crush is the person God has for me, my own brain is leaning towards no lol but I just thank God that He is allowing me to have these feelings so I can better recognize how I put my crushes and just guys in general before God. Hi! That makes sense! And honestly having crushes is fun! And having a crush isn’t a bad thing but we just have to watch our behaviors like you said. It can go from and innocent crush to kinda becoming a bit idolizing if we’re not careful, and then if God tells us that’s not the person for us then we’re hurt because we got too involved emotionally. I would definitely pray about it and just make sure you watch your behaviors and imagination as well and hear whatever God is speaking to you regarding your crush! ❤️
Im 32 and i have the biggest crush i have had in my entire life the girl is in my eyes aboslutly amazing and i feel like I dont deserve her. Another issue is she is 12 years younger than me like how did that happen? Usually i see younger girls as 'just some kid' but this one she is truly special what is inside of her is something marvelous and its something I dont see in anyone else.

Thank you for the kind comment I appreciate that!! 🥰 Regarding your question, I think that’s a bit tricky because though you may think the burden may be lifted it’s a possibility that it may make it worse if they don’t have the same feelings. The first priority here will always be prayer first and take your feelings to the Lord and be honest about how you feel and ask for his direction. Even if you’re frustrated you don’t want to be rude around this person though because that may push them away. Do you know if this person is interested in you?

I think it’s really just prayer in this situation and really asking the Lord to help keep the thoughts in line with His will. It’s okay to like someone or think they’re cute but I think it’s easy for a crush to turn into a big deal and then turn into a problem or distraction later. I think prayer and actively watching and casting down certain thoughts helps the most in this situation
So, I'm not sure if anyone is going to see this, but I could use some advice. My best friend recently met a man of God, and she doesn't want to court him because her life is complicated right now. However, every single thing she’s said about the guy checks off all the things on my list. I'm still trying to figure out if I find him attractive or not, because I've never met him and won't for several more months. I asked God for a yes or no about him, and had a notebook thrown at me that had a big yes in it. My main struggle is, I’ve never been interested in anyone before and don’t know how to navigate any of this 😅 Any advice would be appreciated!
The danger with really liking a man before he pursues you is this: You may create an entire life in your head with the person and quietly, he is pursuing someone else & not thinking about you. Now he has a girlfriend, and you may leave the church, leave your Christian group or wherever else because you don't want to see these two people together. You end up mad at both of them, but all along he didn't belong to you. Not only that, he never showed you he was interested. Isn't it such a silly distraction?! So, rest the war in your heart and let, "He who finds a wife, find a good thing, not SHE". And whoever God has for you, won't want to lose you. If you think someone is the one,mind your business until God shows them as well.

I loved having the Bible verses too. - - - Need to get it out: Right now I’ve been kind of attracted to this guy and been flirting a little (lots of eye contact, slight physical contact/going close to him) I don’t even think that’s right in God’s eyes, and now I repent of it and take it to the Cross and take it to the Lord! And yes he has some cute personality traits, but I’ve also seen a couple red flags. Like you said. So I think unless God really gives him to me, I need to detach. Even though it’s ‘fun’ to talk to him and flirt, and letting go of that is a little hard. It’s not helping me to devote every aspect of my life to the Lord Jesus! Hi! I’m so glad this video helped you!! 😊 I think if you’re noticing red flags that’s definitely God showing you some things. Even if you find him attractive you cannot ignore the red flags because you don’t want to end up outside God’s will. As hard as it may be God knows better and has better for you! You definitely don’t want to be with someone who is not part of God’s will for your life and doesn’t bring you closer to God.
I promise you JESUS LOVES EVERYONE including you!!❤️ Jesus is the only way to heaven!! He is willing to save you he doesn’t want you to go to hell!! There are so many different ways but Jesus is the only way the truth and the life 💓 Jesus can help you and he can do for you what he did for me! It may seem weird or crazy at first but when you decide to give your life to him you are a new creature in Christ you are born again! It feels amazing! He can change you and break the chains you may be holding onto! He loves you so much my friend ❤️❤️ He loves us so much that he died on a cross and was crucified for US! We should’ve been on that cross but instead he loved us enough to pay the price for us! His love is so pure! And because Jesus died for us we have the gift of eternal life in heaven with him! Isn’t that so awesome☺️ ❤️ Even though Jesus loves us theirs still going to be a consequence if we decide to go our own ways instead of giving our lives to him. That consequence is hell. Hell is a terrible place which I PROMISE you do not want to go to! So the choice is yours to make! God is not forcing you to live your life for him but it’s the right way I promise you my friend! You may have not asked but I was born in a Hindu family. But I slowly learned that Jesus is the way the truth and the life and even though my parents did take it hard I know that living for Jesus is the right thing! At first I feel like I was just really scared to go to hell and that’s why I was living for Jesus but after I realized that his love is so awesome it makes you want to cry tears of joy! He has taught me so much and has helped me with tons! I promise you friend no matter how hard it may be to live for him wether it’s your parents or family or just people in general hating on you remember that it will all be worth it in the end! Jesus is going to return to the earth someday which NO-ONE knows except God! Not even the angels in heaven know! Be prepared and if you are willing to give your life to Jesus I think this Bible verse will help you - Romans 10:9 if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God had raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. If your still unsure talk to God! THE REAL GOD! talk to him about maybe some Doubts or questions you may have! Just talk to him about everything maybe even your family! I don’t want you to feel like I’m forcing you but I KNOW that Jesus is the way the truth and the life! Give him a chance ❤️ he’ll take your broken heart and heal it he will help you he doesn’t want you to go to hell which once again is a terrible place! I hope this helped ❤️
How about when you have a crush on someone that you already know isn’t the plan of God cause they’re an unbeliever with Islamic background. It’s a coworker and I’m sick of myself and this stupid little crush and I wish it would just end as suddenly as it started 🙄
Hello! I think ultimately it just comes down to trusting God’s plan for your life. I understand where you’re coming from because I’ve also had crushes on unbelievers in the past, but of course God will not send you someone who is not serving him. The best thing you can do is pray for that person of course that they one day receive Jesus, but also ask the Lord to help you to trust his plan for your life regarding a relationship and also to protect your heart and mind. Crushes can be healthy but we definitely have to watch our thoughts and imaginations or else we may start trying to make exceptions or settle (if that makes sense).
I am single and it is cool to see this kind of perspective, God does plan out the seasons of our lives and it is important that each season be enjoyed for everything it is. I will definitely be keeping my notifications on for your videos!

We may be too much for some people, but there are others who will love us for who we are. Make sure you’re not doing too much around your crush like things that are out of your character. If you’re being yourself then you’re fine because you want that person to like you for who you are. If they don’t share the same feelings then they are not God’s will for you and that’s okay! Even though that may be hard to hear, He always has the best planned for us!
