Like my comment in another one of your vids, we have a ton of really nice GWs in MN and we also have quite a few just sitting in a local junkyard due to neglect. Parts are SO EASY to find there or on Ebay. There's almost no reason to buy anything new when repairing them - except, maybe parts with rubber on them, seals, or o-rings. The labor to work on them can be tedious, but not really that challenging once you've done it a couple times.
I've always admired the look of these - starting when I was an m/c mechanic in the 90s. In MN, We have DOZENS of these on Craiglist all summer. They just sit out there all summer and the prices go down as time passes. They sell at $800 - $5000. Most are around $2K. There are some exceedingly nice ones at that price. It's a little sad, actually, because old guys get them, think they're going to do some US touring, end up riding them around our farmlands just in the summer with their wives on the back, then mostly let them sit for 20+ years because they can't bear to get rid of them after spending a ton on them back in the 1990s/2000s. I wish I could pick up another, but I already have an '86 GL1200 and a '05 GL1800 (both of which I barely ride). They are almost impossible to sell here in MN because our market is saturated and our riding season is short (getting longer thanks to global warming, though).
Nope, Lectric bike is still kicking. We mainly use it on camping trips. We really haven't had any issues with it at all. It does have some weathering now, but that is because we leave it outside all the time.
We can't even get in touch with anyone at Polarna to talk to about getting some replacements parts. Bike is still under warranty. Neither emails or calls get any response
I have tried to look up the information on numerous platforms but can’t find a solution so I come to my RU-vid fam for help ! I have a Amyet S8 e bike had it for like a week and a half and although my bike charges perfectly fine to a hundred percent it seems that my lcd screen is not being charged to 100 percent only about 25 percent can anyone help or suggest me anything ! ? Please 😢
Ha...I think I see what you are seeing. It's actually just glare going through the first zero "0". But if that was actually a "9", It would be the highest mileage Goldwing ever with 929, 484 miles! Coming up on a million miles. :)
@@miguelroaming battery charge level, when I am riding on level ground the energy bar is full. When I am climbing a hill the bar goes down then returns full again on level ground. Can you help me to understand that function?
@@miguelroaming I think I figured it out. It is battery drain level. If you ride in mode 5 for instance, and the energy bar is going down. That indicates the drain mode 5 is putting on the battery. If I go down a mode to 4 the bar increases and the drain is not as bad.
I have the same display in my Engwe Engine Pro 750w (2021) and I could hable all the settings as well. Now I bought a new Display (same model) and I cannot modify the Power Set percentages. Im thinking in to reset the settings. I hope that it works the settings after it. Thank you for sharing.
I just put a catch can on. 1" ID to can 1 " ID out of can to atmosphere I am not running that sh%$ through my turbos any more 136k miles oil all through the boots and the rest of the intake seems to run fine get about 1oz drain from the catch can every 5K service. I'm wondering if I should spray some kind of cleaner like MAP sensor clean or somthing to clean up the turbo vains etc... any suggestions I'm sure cold air cooler is full of crud she's probably ready to run away on her own😱
