Always check your kilowatt rate at your Superchargers. The average is $.35 per kilowatt to $.65 per kilowatt at home you pay $.16 per kilowatt. There’s your difference.
The car warns you when you’re driving which is clearly draining the battery reserves (even at 0% it has reserve power just in case), you’re parked or barely moving, that’s why it’s not doing anything. Also, it says saving because any changes to your settings auto saves to your profile. Including changing the % of battery vs display KM - that’s also a setting change
Bro does she not realize that electricity at home cost money too also no way she is damn near complaining abt 55 buck for full charge that will get u like 13 gallons in texas at a good gas station which for most cars ain't a full tank
Yeah, for the amount of money, I’m still spending and time that I’m taking the charge the car I might as well just get a gasoline car. Like I’m a gasoline car owner and I always will be and I believe electric vehicles are good for some people not everyone but some people. Like power isn’t cheap either also for me I’m a car guy so I like to modify my car and take long road trips. On road trips I prefer to drive instead of wait at a gas station or charging station for that long.
Most of the time you charge at home while sleeping or at work while working on a road trip average 20 minutes stop walk around stretch walk dog get food.
Cool video! Also, if I believe it takes a lot more charge and effectively money and time to charge the high percentages rather than when it's close to empty. Let us know if that's what you notice too
this is not fake but not accurate at all, as UNLESS YOUR CAME TO THE MOST COSTLY SUPER CHAGER AT THE WORST TIMES, no you do not have to pay 50+ dollars to charge to 0-100%. i did the math and at average rate at $0.30/kWh(and this is an average at not peak hours it is lower) and at rate it would cost $24.64 and if you don't believe me, here's the math 55.02(or total charge price)/0.67(how much it costs per kWh)= 82.12 rounded(total kWh charged) 82.12(kwh charged)*0.30(average price at supercharger)=24.64(amount at average supercharger) even if you take the $0.40/kWh at peak hours, it is still only $32.85, which is cheaper than gas and all of this can be easily avoided if you just charge at home, then it depends on your energy bill.
The standard average kwh for supercharging in calgary is 0.67/kwh. It is extremely expensive and waste of time if you do not have an at home supercharger. Especially considering weather conditions and how much more extra money it would cost for ac or heating. I am fortunate to have a Tesla charger at home which costs me around $10 for a full charge. This could not have been any more accurate than it is now.
Nuh uh all car brands are switching to electricity because its the eaziest thing to do to develop a engine you have to spend millions and develop it for months the same with every other part but with electric cars you just throw in it a big battery and your done
Is she really this stupid ? She didn’t ask if the car could take gas. She asked about a gas station. i.e. snacks/drinks. She really should take this video down and save herself now.
