@@JoeHasGotToGo Very true, the 18 gal tank I put in gave me a fairly far range. I did keep four (6 gal) fuel jugs on board for both the generator and outboard. I could go a far distance between fill up then.
Yes and I'm loving my T22. Just got back from a trip to Bimini out the Boca Raton inlet (130 mile round trip). Did it on one tank of gas with about 20 gallons to spare.
@@michaelforbes7305 Well, If you leave your boat in the water at your marina like I do you have no choice. It's a must or you'll have barnacles and growth attaching to the fiberglass hull. That's not good.
That was an option but I preferred to set the chair section up like a sort of living room. The table and couch up front both turn into beds. If you have one built there are several configurations you can go with.
Yes, but it does hit within the required RPM range of 5000 to 5800 RPM. She's hitting 5300 rpm @ WOT now. If I can find another prop with a little less pitch I might give it a try.

thanks for the tour, an air bnb on the water. one critique, in future videos, if you could get a small tripod and the camera down and point things out, the constant motion of your camera started to make nauseous, think Blair witch project.

A few more questions if I may. What kind of range can you get with the current engine and fuel tank size? Also, the window above the 2 lounge chairs... I noticed it is different then the front side windows, smaller and different operation. Does it open up outward like a awning window? Was this window something you requested? Thanks.

Agreed, but I go out in the ocean all the time with her. Just gotta wait for that Bermuda High to hover over South Florida and the ocean turns to glass.
Not sure what you mean my storage in the floats. If you mean the pontoons, no. Plenty of storage in closet and under the benches. It handles 1 to 2 foot chop fine but anything bigger and you may take a little water over the bow but it's not a big issue so far. Not an ocean boat but I'll take it out in the ocean if its a flat day out. Florida gets that way quite often.
Thanks for all your videos. I watch them all the time, but I can't get enough. When I need a boost, I watch a few Lil Hobo vids and research anchors and such. I am working hard towards getting my own Lil Hobo, but looks like based on the build queue and finance, I am at least a 1.5 - 2 years away from ownership at this time. So I have been feeding off any info I can find on the internet. I particularly enjoy seeing Stella on water, It seems to bring the fantasy closer to home. I would just love to see some videos of nice secluded beachings! I live in Utah, so my Lil Hobo will be sitting hidden somewhere on a quiet beach in Lake Powell/Flaming Gorge most of the summer. This boat is pretty much a "to hell with everyone else, I'm going to take a nap" in this secluded bay parked at an epic cake-flour-like sandy beach. It just calls my name, I Can't wait! Keep up the vids, I recognize the same passion in you that I feel every day.

Actually that was a pretty brisk out going tide when I did that. The boat can handle 1 to 2 footers all day long. I’d never go out in the ocean bigger than that though.

I tow with my 2017 Nissan XD with the Cummins 5.0 diesel. It’s about 10,000 lbs total with trailer weight. It’s not exactly aerodynamic so I only go 60 mph on hwy. I get about 8 to 9 mpg.

That’s right, the RV dump has the ability to padlock. Many lakes allow it but their natural resource folks will put one of their locks on it or want to see a lock in it. When you pull out, they’ll take it off. Many boat have the ability to dump overboard and pump out. They all usually have some way to lockout the overboard dump if need be. I think it’s a Coast Guard regulation. I suppose if you wanted to be an ass and dump into a lake you could get one of those 12 volt pump out units and let’er rip as disgusting as that sounds 🤮. I use it as an RV a lot so I dump at dump stations.
