How much are you supposed to deflate the tires when you go offroading like that? As a reference, what are yours set to before and to what pressure do you deflate them to?
It depends on the trail. I normally drop 5 psi no matter what just for comfort. If it's sandy or I really need grip I drop down to around 20psi. Different terrains will call for different firmness with your tires. It's really good to experiment to see what you like.
One of my more favorite spots. I love all the old cabins in there. The one you drove by is a reclaimed cabin the USFS/BLM use for a staging area for search and rescues and working on the Pacific Crest Trail. Nice video and love seeing you catching your first golden!
the hill you said no go to you would have had no problem. I did the entire trail in mine to include the chute with no damages. well the factory side steps got dinged and scratched but that's it. it's super capable. after reading your specs have way more suspension mods than I did too. all I had was the eibach snap ring pro lift
Get a fly rod quit using that spinning rod and read up on the regs on the body of water you’re fishing. Ignorance isn’t a excuse to get out of a fine..
Super cool video ! I plan to go in beginning of March and trout fishing for the first time. I fish a lot in the ocean and bays. If you don’t mind what size hook and eggs were those
Nice video Brother!! Can’t wait to go back this spring. Love that place! Thanks for taking us with you. I was there October 2020 with my daughter and it was freaking cold, 12°. Colorado Native here but hey, cold is cold no matter where you’re at. Just beat a snowstorm on our way out. Peace
Awesome video, I’ve been there, just a word of advice, that’s a wild trout area, there’s special regulations when it comes to fishing, mainly barbless hooks and no bait or scented lures
Good video. I did that trail with my '16 Honda Pilot AWD and now I want to go back in my Ranger. Tried to camp near the river/tree area deeper in but after seeing the stars, the meadow is the place to be I think. Did you guys see the milky way?
Nice video. Love to see you out enjoying this area. I want to check it out soon. I just got into fly fishing. I believe that section of river is classed as wild and scenic and I think it is artificial lures and barbs less hooks only . I am not sure of the keeper refs. You were handling the fish very carefully nice job. . When you go to bait it is much easier to hurt the fish, that is one re I switched to fly fishing I was messing up some rare wild trout here in San Diego bait fishing with small treble hooks. . I got a cheap fly fishing outfit in Amazon and Mad RiverFly Fishing has great tutorials on RU-vid. I can see way people fly fish ,the trout really hit the fly’s. I caught my first wild trout the other day Fly fishing. . Give it a try you’ll love it. Anyway I enjoyed watching. And will check out pt 2.
