@Jimbo718Slice It's a pretty fast car. I gotten mine down to a 36.47. I recommend running the 2nd lane from the wall I. 3 and 4 coming to start your lap, you should be hitting 210 and run the 2nd lane from bottom in the turn. The car can be driven pretty deep into the corner. Also I am in a custom set too lol
@@boobsball i ran a 35.78 in my chevy SS in Q trim there in august. i dont have video of it sadly but it was a THRILL ride going that fast. also just ran a 28.438 at charlotte with the gen 4 with the stock setup and tape in a test session. im going to upload that to my page soon
@Jimbo718Slice they really gripped up now. Not sure if it's just the refresh or what or they gripped up the tracks or the tire. Ran a low 35.3 at Michigan and 27.19 at old Texas.
Back when broadcasts actually played the sound of the cars. Now all we get is Clint Bowyer talking over everyone. We never needed a “crank it up” segment back then.
dropped it 2 sizes, still blubberign up top, its either the a/f mixture screw or its my ignition crapping out, its getting a cr250 ignition eventually and should run much better after riding a couple with the cr ignition including one with a very similar engine setup to mine and has a fmf pipe on it. it was a much happier running motor to say the least.
I have always loved the camera shot from the middle of the turns..love the sounds of the cars from that spot. God, I miss the early 2000’s. Shit was a thrill.
Not only did the cars in this video sound better with carburetors but they also raced better with better bodies, ride height requirments and more horsepower.
You know why these gen 4 sounds are gone in nascar and the v10 engines are gone in formula 1 and even some of the older Indy car sounds and the imsa cars sounded good and now almost every race car has v6 engine now and these stupid technology I hate it in my opinion in my opinion older race cars sounded the best and they looked the best too they had a certain taste too them!
yes, i always run the stage 3 insert. this was from april when i installed it. the quad is now being built as a TT race quad. i also have another build in the works, but everyone will have to wait before i reveal it :)
At about 1:20 would that have been the same lap that Earnhardt flipped off Kurt Busch? They were alongside each other but it would have been out of frame
