I love the original Chucks and the Chuck 2. Both are very nice shoes. I have a red pair of the original Chucks ive worn for like 3 years now and they are still going strong and looking good. They are super light, awesome for walking, running and weight lifting while wearing. The non slip tongue in the Chuck 2's are definitely great.
Got these for under retail just recently. Love every detail, though I do wish they had put the Japanese symbol on the heel and kept the tongues A-symmetrical. That little pull tab on the back is annoying with pants though, unless your okay with folding it flat. Maybe that’s the reason for the little foam shroud, so you can re-train it to stick out. These have that wow factor, but the details in the bayou boys is off the charts.
That’s interesting, my first pair of j’s back in the day were the infrared 6’s. I remember being in footlocker and I could get the just released 6’s for $110 or the 5’s (they had both the BM or FR still) for $100. So that $110 price tag held for quite a few years.
2024 for sure. They don’t have the insole graphics or the keychain but they got the orange right in the details. It looks like they went for a happy medium between the original wedge shape and the newer curved shape, which is good. The og shape looked a little odd, and the newer shape isn’t og, so a good compromise.
I can sell you one for $10 plus shipping in a bubble mailer which would be like $15 total. You can email me or hit me up on X or Instagram. Same username.
I love watching your video and this was amazing... Im from philippines & used to have that pack.. But i lost all of my nba cards when we got flooded by the typhoon.. Specially when i get the mitch richmond die cut co'z im fan of mitch richmond of sacramento kings...now i dont have any nba cards after i lost everything...im planning to buy again but its too expensive here now in phil..
Sorry to hear about the loss. This video pretty much became an experiment to see who out there was still following along. I haven’t made content in months and it’s nice to hear some overlap between the cards and sneakers. Thanks for watching the video.
@@jamiepike6909if you don’t understand then maybe ask? If I plan to grade, it’s the best way to not have to wipe down the cards after getting oils on them from your hands. They can go straight into a penny sleeve and into a card saver to submit for grading. It’s so I can try to obtain the highest grade possible.
@@mjo23dan I do understand, it still looks very strange regardless.you could just wash your hands before breaking and easy to catch a corner or edge with gloves
Brings back memories ripping those dnt no why people are holding on to boxes prone to bricking which means any good card you get will not gem mint a ten
Just a little tip from a 20 plus year card collector. Don’t use scissors to cut the pack like that, not only could you accidentally cut the top of the card but when you are pulling them out like that you can Nick a corner pretty good. Nice rip btw! 🤙🏼
Only 20 years? I’ve been a collector for 33 years. The scissors method has been my preferred method. I always make sure the cards sit low enough before I make the cut which is what you can observe in the video. Sorry, not new to this but appreciate the view.
@@shaungarrison7270 appreciate the comment. A box like this you’re looking at upwards of $1000. I took the risk for a chance at the reward. Unfortunately I didn’t come away with MJ’s jersey card but it was a fun process to try and pull it.
Very nice box rip. Huge regret is stopping buying cards in '93. This design is so nice. If I would have seen these back then, I'd have been back in the hobby for sure. 👍
@@mjo23dan lol I know! I think all the time about what if I opened a pack of ultra and got a power in the key or something. I would have been hooked for sure. Yes, got back in early spring of 2020. Been having a blast ever since. Good video, solid set up you have for recording.
MJO where have you been mannn? You are the OG round here, we need yo expertise and comparisons when it comes to these new kicks 🤣 jk jk but glad to see you back!
Nice! I actually had that Dirk card that you mentioned. Man, I'm telling you... I'd literally be a millionaire right now if I still was in possession of the 4 large binders worth of all my cards that I owned.
