One grandson did not walk till he was 18 months old. He was just so long and lanky and hyper-flexible. I really think shorter, rounder babies do better because of their lower center of gravity. I do wish the media would stop calling any kid under kindergarten age a toddler. Anyone around kids knows toddler refers to the adorable age when they have that wobbly gait. My baby has wanted to walk sense he was 7 months for some reason he doesn't want to walk anymore he's already 10 months and I can't get him to start walking alone. I NEED HELP!
I agree! You've gotta really encourage your baby & buy them toys! I know a baby who didnt walk until 15 months & I'm convinced it was the lazy parenting! Not in all cases but deffo if there is no issues constant play & stimulation to walk will result in an early walker! ;-)
My baby brother is just over 10 months and shew all these signs at 8 months (except more steps) I don't think he feel confident enough, have you got any tips to encourage him? :)
cute baby! My baby is 11 months and walking full-time. She took her first 15 steps (she didn't take any before that) at exactly 11 months. It took her almost 2 weeks to stop crawling.
