A hard part with enjoying certain blasters is the obsession with things like design roles. Yes, it is possible that a better blaster for a specific role or niche will come out in terms of performance, but that doesn’t mean it will be better any everything, like ergonomic feel, or ease of modding and repair. Sometimes a blaster is still great even if it’s passed up in performance metrics because it’s base ergonomics and ideas were so timeless.
I have 2 centurions i don't know how but i love them ( just laying down in the back of the room priming it and then shooting it makes you feel like a real marksman)
Glad to see some appreciation for the Centurion, it may be pretty big and cumbersome, but it’ll always be one of my favorite nerf blasters. Just having a giant sniper rifle that shoots wicked big darts is so much fun.
One blaster I also think is underrated is the disruptor. I remember back when it came out, people ragged on it for being a strongarm with less plastic and saw it as a downgrade. I got one yesterday and I love the disruptor. It has a slightly larger, more comfortable grip than the strongarm, and you can load it without having to rotate the drum.
I'd say almost every blaster is underrated, especially where I live. There's little to no people in the hobby that's at a reasonable age, and all Nerf is here is a "soft bullet toy gun for children" and nothing more. It's fun factor is only realized by the parents or guardians who buy these blasters, and that's how I've gotten even my older brother on the fence about the hobby, I'm one of the few very passionate nerfers. The top 10 can be interchangeable within EVERY foam blaster in existence in that sense.
The Deploy just feels like the most overhated blaster all because of Coop hating it. As much as I loved Coop, bro’s opinion treated as the be all end all of opinions for old Nerf blasters just doesn’t feel right. Yeah the Deploy isn’t exactly made to be a primary that shoots 400 fps lbut it didn’t need to be. It’s just a overly fun blaster that just exists to be a gimmick
Sadly I have avoided getting X-Shot's drum cylinder blasters ever since I had an accident with a Turbo-Fire. I had just bought it and had only fired 20 darts when all of a sudden the blaster crunched and half jammed. The accident.... because the TF is a top prime when the thing jammed and then freed itself my hand slipped off the slide and I hit myself in the face! After that the blaster just kept grinding at the damaged point on the cylinder. Oh well.
i remember wanting a nerf surgefire for a while but wasnt able to find one, plus i heard about the skipping problems which deterred me from getting one at the end of the day i ended up finding the last stand on amazon for a good discount and ended up nabbing one. imagine how disappointed i was when not only it felt cheap and rough around the edges, but also the fact that the blaster would end up becoming readily available in store shelves a year later in my country i wish i got the villainator but worldwide shipping is a pain
I don't mean to be super negative, but just want to let you know, the chrono barrel doesn't exactly work correctly with smaller waffle head darts. On top of that the chrono barrel is unfortunately not the most accurate chronograph.
@@YouGotNerfed-js4nr the surgefire pitches my thumb when priming,has a terrible feeling prime and low FPS. It’s front priming handle is the best thing on it. So badly made.
I don't know what they were thinking, having something designed to be squishy horizontally loaded in a tube mag. Always cool to have rear feed blasters, but tube mags are a recipe for disaster with elite darts. It'd probably be really fun if it weren't so frustrating to operate, ohwell.

You can get the goldblum kit from outofdarts that solves a lot of its issues. Mine never could get through a full mag of long darts without jamming. Definitely needs a longer barrel. My stock broke and then broke again once I’d welded it back together. All in all a great plinker as it is.
Meh, not so much broke as not sensible. Buzz Bee had some good releases (or at least decent) but there's a lot of not great ones. Gotta do your research on them, but hey, once you find a good one, hold on to it.
