Everybody knew Mike was the man, but we respected Scottie so much. My brother had a whole Scottie wall of all Scottie Clips and posters. Scottie was that dude. 💪🏽💯
Scottie is the reason why I picked up a basketball when I was a kid ... It was his name that I HAPPILY yelled out when trying to dunk or shoot a shot on a Tike basketball goal, lol... I played great defense because of him and I had NO weaknesses on offense neither because I modeled my game after him .. I'm 44 now and will be 45 in November and he will ALWAYS be my hero... Scottie Pippen was top pound for pound the most complete player in his era ... I thank God I witnessed him during my lifetime because he was my GREATEST entertainment in basketball 🤟🙏
Great Great player no doubt ....absolute killer .Possibly the the most intelligent player of all time .But Michael's ...Playoff and finals stats are Galaxy class ....hes so far ahead of everyone else its ridiculous. Prime Bird though was Awesome .
Pippen on the fast break was probably the scariest sight. he could pull-up for 3, drive for a dunk, dish for a wide open look or hit a mid range jumper. 5 tool player
Magic’s stats dropped a bit in 1991 especially his FG% but you can see could still control the game and dish out assists. Always wonder how that series progresses if Worthy is healthy. His ankle was badly sprained in the WCF and he just didn’t have much after game 1.
@@NoNameWillBeGiven778 no excuse, the bulls were a great team. But ankle injuries are pretty debilitating just ask Laker fans in 91 and Piston fans in 88. I’m not only one who thinks the 91 series has a different story with a healthy Worthy. I still think Bulls win but not in 5 games. As for Magic’s stats, both scoring and % and quite a bit lower. Go check BB reference site you can look at regular season and playoffs. No doubt he was still a force - he still lead his team to the finals.
There's always talk about the 1st half of game 1 and MJs 6 consecutive 3s but no one ever talks about game 6 start of the 4th quarter and bulls down 16 and pippen leads the bulls charge with 4 bench guys and MJ on the bench, that 4th quarter shows you why the bulls still won 55 games without MJ
Interesting to see such a great playmaker deliver the ball - perfectly - to all these scorers like Dantley, Gervin, Walter Davis, English, etc. And you wonder could they have won a championship if paired with a player like Magic Johnson.
Yea I was supposed to start a new page, but I ended up moving to a different state and had kids. I want to get all my videos back and I’ll go from there.
I have nothing bad to say about the 90s but the 80s was just plain loaded with talent. Also, you get the idea Bird would have won championships with the Sixers, too.
Pippen could have been the ECF MVP here, and maybe with at least 1 individual award on his name, (he also deserve at least 1 DPOY) would keep him from being bitter as he is today. Though, if there was a conference finals mvp back then, MJ will surely compete to earn that mvp, even against a teammate.
