Diversification is one thing and weightage is another. Different mutual funds have different ratios of investments in different stocks. Even if same companies are being invested again there is a catch in the ratios in the weightage of every company. Hence over diversifying can work really well if you plan it out well. Same theme mutual funds perform different why? This is the reason. Hence do invest in multiple mutual funds. Tomorrow if u want to redeem you have an option of whether to choose a profitable one or a loss one. If not diversified then you don't have that option. Don't go for easy knowledge. Dive deep into it and know for yourself. People will tell what they know. You should not loose your money. Learn and then invest. Don't blindly follow others

Madam agar har mutual fund 50 stocks hold karta hai to usme se 30-40 stocks sab me common hi mil jayenge check kar lena. So 5 mutual funds hold karne pe bhi 100 stocks se jyada nai hoga.
