A note that at t=39:24, the text to the left was also clearly written by AI. Words like "intertwining", "delves" and "endeavors" and more generally the writing style of the whole panel is very indicative of generative AI.
Some of the best narratives on Japanese pottery I have heard. Definitely saving this video to my Japanese Mengei and crafts pinboard. I will want to watch this many many times. My only "direct" contact with Japanese arts was with potter Hamada and calligrapher Kojo Sakamoto (he studied under Tessai) Loved this so much. So many beautiful pots. Thank you 💖
Thanks for this video BPOC. I'm not sure I understand the difference suggested by Piper between an specific hour and a specific hour. Also where does the AI fit in with the sensory maps?
Rupping around rice strews on vessal No glaze, the rice strews Will mark its marking named Hidaski...緋襷. Also, ash dropping.. Specialy good Pine Ash.... Resukt is Green glassy dtopping.
I’ve just started learning about clay and using clay. I’ve watched this about 5 times so far. So inspiring. Thank you for sharing your passion and knowledge
I think that not only the pottery is important but also the name of the artist. The name has to be spelled correctly, else it would be dishonoring. So please if you could change 'Ken MATZUSAKI' to Ken MATSUZAKI, not only that would be a honor to the artist but also improve the quality of your video. Great collection. Kind regards.
What a wonderful video you have created. Your description of each piece stating the origin of the copper in the glaze to create such wonderful living colors from nature preserved so well in these treasured pieces from the past. I have only been to Japan once when I traveled to many wonderful places with my daughter. Truely the best experience of my life. The feel of being embraced by such deep appreciation and respect for the culture of Japan from both past and present was an amazing experience for me, even more so highlighted today when I see so much of America being destroyed by greed and religious money from within. Aloha
Brilliant video. Anyone else notice At the very end 34:30 where he speaks people going to the falls to write one last poem before throwing themselves over the falls. The rock in the video looks like a human figure falling headfirst down to the bottom
Absolutely wonderful. What an extraordinary range of creativity. It is inspirational to me. Thank you. Difficult to understand how this level of creativity exists.
