That song was funny. Nothing for Northlake though...Gotta nice lookin' park, Walmart and Sam's Club. Lot's of places to eat and a cemetery with dead people...
We had the infrastructure to support the games. We had the unpolluted lake. Football stadium, baseball stadium, muesuems, largest convention that was going to hold like 13 events already built....All we had to build was the place for the athletes to stay, which would have been by the lake, the swimming pool and i think 1 more stadium i think. And fixed up the roads. Logically we should have won. Rio had to build EVERYTHING from scratch because they neglected everything in their country. Then you have the zika vius, the insane polluted water. No cops, no hospitals, not even a drug testing place. I mean, our cops are bad towards black people but they are still there and they mean serious bussiness so dont even try to compare. Im sure if it was hosted here, chicago would have profited from the games. Rio has went down insanely due to the games.
I remember seeing Pele jumping up and down celebrating with his group as they finally land the Olympics. It reminded me so much of Michael Jordan when he would always win and it got me thinking that if there is one athlete still living who's experienced that kind of dominance that would rival that of Michael Jordan's, then it would be none other than Pele.
I think Americans are probably happy because with the Olympics being in Brazil the time difference is not a factor and that they don't have to get up in the middle of the night to watch the games!

Riolight nova rota mundial...Divirta-se mas nunca se distraia.
Parabéns Chicago, isso demonstra o quanto vocês são educados, Muito diferente da reação dos espanhóis. Congratulations Chicago, this shows how much you are educated, very different from the reaction of the Spaniards.
yes its a little sad that my city didnt win the bid, but im still very glad. mostly because its the first games in south america, and because its at least in my time zone. Its a great thing for the olympic movement and its one step closer to being in every continent!
Here in youtube you can find the report made by ABC 7 Chicago with that people celebrating and you can see some americans joining the party with Brazilians.
Both, did ever think the name of their country is United States of America... Being United States something similar to Federative Republic in Brazilian name... Indeed, Brazil was once named "Estados Unidos do Brasil"... So... yes, their country is called America too. And for most of Nothern Hemisphere countries (indeed Germany, England, Netherlands) there is two separated continents: South America and North America. There is no international agreement for that.
America is a shit country. I know I live here. The country is going down the toilet. Getting out of here when the STHTF. Thanks to Bush and Obama, the Military Industrial Complex, the Illegals, the Federal Reserve, Zionists, and all the traitorous corporations/Wall Street, America has become the joke of the world. I'm embarrassed to be American. And I say this as a once proud conservative American.
I'm glad Rio won the bid. Chicago would NEVER be able to handle the influx of visitors. Their roads are a disaster and their inner city is a trainwreck.
