Thank you. My 2000 Foreman 450s had this problem after sitting 9 years. Hooked it up with a chain to my trailer hitch. Secondary broke free. Shifts great now. ❤
I have a 1990 350d. When I put it up for winter I ALWAYS install a ratchet strap between the shifter and handle bar to keep the shifter up and the clutch released while in storage. Never had any issues!
I was needing a Jetski Trailer, that can be Broken Down for Storage,, so i went to Amazon,& this popped up..is there another brand, that i could also consider
Thanks. Purchased a waterproof lighted switch just now after watching for my 06 rancher 350. Just finishing a top end freshening up and I want the engine running cooler than Honda sets that switch temp at to activate.
I bought one for 600 from my uncle it needs lil repairs but the frame and engine are in good condition probably going to have to put another 1200 into it, think it’s worth it for this bike?
Does this have the single line slave cylinder, or the slave with the bleeder screw? I have an 02 explorer with a manual, and the slave just has 1 line in. There's a bleeder on the firewall, but I don't see how that clears air out of the slave, which is downstream from the bleeder. Every video I see is for bleeding the slave with the bleeder screw. I'll try this and see if it helps, but I still have to bleed my slave somehow
I got all that parts you suggested spent 4 hours trying different things to get the bearing of but what worked for me I drilled several holes around & through the bearing and was able to twist it off after using a sawzall blade to cut a little bit that was holding everything together I just wrapped the blade in a towel until I was able to cut it in half. Thank you soo much.
I've completed all these works on my 350D - same parts, same process and also consulted the workshop manual during the adjustment & bleeding process. However the biting point of the brakes is so close to the handlebar and seems spongey. Takes multiple pumps to get a good feel on the lever. Did you have this issue? I got no leaks and inspected for flowback to the reservoir during brake hold process. Any thoughts?
I have the same HF bleeder, but I find I don't have a steady stream of fluid coming out. It's more like the top of of the top is air, and the bottom half is brake fluid rushing out. Am I doing something wrong?
Hello, I have this same bolt capture installed. Is there a way to do your belt service/replacement with it installed since you can no longer get a socket on the crank bolt the rotate and relieve/re-tension the belt
If youre looking to completely replace the fluid in the system couldnt you just leave the thing attached to the caliper furthest from the master cylinder reservoir?
I know it's 4 years later and the part is deep in a landfill by now, but I wonder if you could take a heat gun with medium heat to get the moisture out?
My 2001 is the next generation but the principal is the same. I've been digging into videos for a week and this makes sense. The adjuster didn't help and I did a tear down, one way bearing is fine. I'll give it a try. Is your still working ?
Yes, still running strong. Occasionally, they will get stuck if the ATV sets for a few months, just have to hold down the foot shift lever while you drive and it will break free.
Back in 2013 I found one of these in a scrap bin with no plastics or a carb. I bought a china carb and it fired right up. I rigged plastics from a polaris onto it and just rode the shit out of it lol.
