Gardenia needs a lot of water and more light. Ficus doesn’t need as much light as gardenia. I have gardenia growing outside and I live in central Florida.
I dont belive its the sun that burns the cacti. (Maby if its cultivated under artificial light and not used to the sun.)It could be the heat because the glass. Deserts are hot but extremely windy. Try to use a privacy film on the window and put your hand in front of it when its sunny to test if it still gets hot
Make sure to use correct bonsai soil, and with that soil you need to water them very frequently, every or every other day. Your spiral cactus look extremely dehydrated.
It’s ok to have bad lighting or unfocused problems but it’s also ok to apologize once and not “sorry” over and over. I love your cactus collection though and I learn a lot from you. I’m in Yuma Arizona. Donna
These are not mealies. Mealies don't run fast. What you have are isopods, aka rolly polly bugs or potato bugs. They eat decaying things. I look forward to the second part. To root it you want to keep the top of the soil slightly damp and give it high light. But don't water all the way through. Just spritz top with a mister
I am so happy you enjoyed my set up! It is always a balancing game of too many plants or not enough 🤭 Hopefully one day you can have some big plants too!
@@camillerutledge3987 this means so much to me thank you 🥹😭 I was worried no one would make it to the cacti portion since the video was so long. I am so happy you enjoyed! 🫶🪴
Last plant is nice! I’d definitely like one for my collection. Looks like a Dog Tail (Deamia Testudo) cactus or Lepismium Cruciforme Spiralis. I’m one that likes pots to match plants as well. It’s very specific! 🪴🌱🌵🏜️I hope this helps! Nice video~
Thank you so much for this comment. I am so happy you enjoyed! I bet you have a wonderful collection as well. Sending you happy growing vibes for this fall 🫶🪴
