They basically restrict you from traveling outside of a certain vicinity because of their limited range. The charge times can vary but most are extended waits. Pull into a gasoline pump and you’re back on the road within minutes. Battery replacement is also another high cost item in the long term.
i get liking V8s because they sound and feel cool, and there’s plenty of 8+ cylinder cars i love, but in this day and age we don’t have to keep pretending you need a V8 to be powerful/reliable in a work truck. i just care if they’re building powerful/reliable cars or not, period. a *RELIABLE* TT V6 sounds dope for a standard truck as long as they’re reliable and are tuned to be competitive with the outbound V8s.
