I wanted to add the Jazz are exposing Shaq. His man keeps setting screens, whether its a pick and roll or a down screen. Shaq is too slow to come out and help. The Kings did this, and so did the Pistons.
Some added context to this game . The Jazz were an excellent home team. At that point they had won 23 games in sla row at home including 10 straight in the playoffs and the bulls had just lost two straight to the Jazz and needed that game 5 win to take control of the series. What other player in history comes up this in such a high pressure spot time and time again? Dont tell me about anyone else being the GOAT

WOW, I completely forgot that the Clippers made the postseason in the 1996-1997 season. Given, with a 36-46 record. When I think of the Clippers making the playoffs in the 1980s or 1990s, I only thought of the Larry Brown Clippers, when he took them to the playoffs in back to back season, and almost won the first round series but lost both of them in 5 games. And then the next time I remembered them making the playoffs afterwards was in the 2005-2006 season and then Lob City mini-era. 1992 against the Jazz, lost in 5 games in the first round 1993 against the Rockets, lost in 5 games against the Rockets 2006 beat the Nuggets in the first round, and then lost to the Suns in 7-games in the second round. But I completely forgot they made it in 1997
If the Jazz had won this game they’d have went against Orlando in the finals. Would have had HCA against the Suns and they beat the Spurs in the playoffs in 94, 96 and 98
good series to watch, lakers didn't put up much of a contest, jazz were so solid thru some of these years, if jordan wasn't around no doubt they would have won at least 1 championship
This defense of the 90’s will never be seen again. No way Lebron could just barrel down the lane in this great defensive era. Jordan had to earn every point, Lebron with no jump shot couldn’t make it in the 90’s no way
This was good times back in the day- legal screens, hard nosed basketball at its best. The little man Stockton had the time to lace up for the game winning three.
