Robert Gomez is a songwriter, multi- instrumentalist musician from Washington State (formerly of Texas). Besides writing and performing his own music he has performed both live and on recordings with numerous other artists including Sarah Jaffe, John Grant, Centro-matic, Baptist Generals, Norah Jones, Omar Faruk Tekbilek, and Tico da Costa/ Phillip Glass.
His latest album, Zemog Otrebor was featured in last season's King of the Road on Vice TV.
Robert is the owner and winemaker at hoquetus wine company.

EDIT: OK I did just find your winery + band camp site where there is in fact one vinyl edition available (lord why are there not more vinyl options!?!?! - you know I've been collecting since birth, 1976) - i don't drink wine much anymore but your website makes me want a whole bottle. cheers robert - cL

I'll try to remember what it was that I wrote earlier today.....It's been one hot minute! since i dropped kicked face-less-book into the garbage can for good in May of 2020 (the year of lamestream lies, like every year) - I was in Denton at some point before we relocated to the second ring of hell (New Mexico - we lived through that actually and safely made it over to Arkansas via Idaho. THANK GOD.) - So that would have been before the end of 2018 for sure - driving northbound through the old square and suddenly my head turned to the west and I saw only you as I moved slowly through the intersection of Recycled Books - you were sitting in a chair with your back against the wall near McBride Music + Pawn (closed now I hear) - facing south and staring into the space between you and the courthouse. I still kick myself for not stopping and finding out what the hell it was that you were staring at. To this day I always want to know what that moment was. I think it was when you were living in Denton again for a spell? But not sure exactly. maybe if we ever get up to Washington I can sip some of your especial vino and you can tell me all about it! are the other Ormonde vinyls available through your bandcamp?
