Everyone goes for the bigger watches, but I just find them so much less comfortable. I'm 6'3" and have a 7.5" wrist. I wear the Garmin Fenix 6S and find the size perfect!

Heyy, yeah 23cm is the max thickness even when fully loaded. It seems to be much bigger because all the straps & pockets etc, so visually it's bigger than it really is :)
Tough choice for me. I got 2S, I have 17cm wrist too and while the watch itself was perfect size, the strap that is included with it is just too short. Putting the watch on was hard and I almost ran out of slots. You can buy a new strap and the bottom part will be longer, but I doubt it will help a lot since the top part will be the same length... Now I'm considering getting 2 in 45mm size, but I don't know... I don't like bulky watches :/
Was just looking at getting the exact same one a few days ago. If you could comment on the size of the backpack and your torso size (as per Osprey's measuring guide), that'd be greatly appreciated 😀 Confused about the size (they do have sizing tables and stuff on their website, but this new revision seems to be "one size fits many"), I wrote an email to Osprey's customer support. Five days later I've not received anything apart from the automated "your message was received" response.
