Great info and good job..... My question is, as a sole trader that sells fabric, - do i have to pay tax ? - which type of tax ? - Must tax be calculated on profit amount after deducting all my expenses and operational expenses....? Thanks for your cooperation.
Is E-levy redeemable to annual PIT/CIT tax computation return? If not, why not? Is it a form of withholding tax or just a levy that is expected to expire? If so, when will it expire ?
Awesome...... It's my dream to join the customs division of Ghana because of the incredible work they do to keep our country safe. God Bless you guys❤🎉
Hello ,Please I want to know the total quantity and the cost of dried rosemary imported to Ghana in 2022 and 2023 respectively how and where can i find that Data
Such an intelligent man and i'm happy that what others thought of Africa and perceived it to be is not what it actually is and they must learn more about Africa especially Ghana my motherland. Some thought the annual tax for individuals were as bad as 13% but it did not turn out as they speculated as it was better than that. An excellent view of taxes and proper ways of executing taxes in Ghana has really come a long way to excel since the introduction of the online medium will help many especially the educated individuals.
Nothing is indeed certain except death and taxes.... a consultant cannot tell when an accountant will die....yet the accountant seem to always plan to make static the life of a Ghanaian citizen thinking they are smarter or more educated. When would taxes be placed on prostitutes in kumasi and Accra? or should we be silent for our mothers to be cheated on in the name of jealousy? The Ghana Revenue Authority seem to make "static" plans against others leading to them not getting any profits but loses in their dealings with other corporations. Maybe we should buy funeral clothes and mourn their eccentric thoughts.
The general Corporate Income Tax rate is 25% However, there are contemporary rates depending on the nature of business carried out by an entity, location of business and specific industry. You can read more on our website gra.gov.gh/domestic-tax/tax-types/corporate-income-tax/
Excellent video for your viewers. Most ghanaians have added unnecessary lies to their own predicament leading to the death of the pension contributions after their retirement. However, there are people at the banks who are even more corrupt than the so-called tax collectors in the country. My question is if a person is in the high income bracket, what allowance is he entitled to for a tax purposes and his tax returns?
The reliefs for taxpayers are all the same and change based on your qualifying circumstances. eg. number of children, etc. It does not depend on income bracket.
@@GhanaRevenueso basically pay huge taxes but don't even get anything back. Poor health care, poor education, no water, no electricity, then I go out with my already taxed salary to pay more taxes. Meanwhile GRA workers have one of the best salaried workers in the country.
This video says how to file taxes but showed you where to file your taxes. What I'm I filing? What documents I'm I uploading, what details should I pay attention to. What information do you need, what type of tax should I file under? So you paid for this video to be made but doesn't serve intended purpose, you seem to forget the literacy rate in Ghana. And how many people can actually visit your website to file the tax itself. Looking more like let's go digital and leave the rest behind
Thanks for the platform you have provided for civilians to understand clearly what the Ghana Revenue Authority is all about: breaking the hard shells of pessimists, educating people to deal away with jejune opinions and demystifying things to solve problems imbibed in people due to their preconceived notions. Sometimes, illustrations are hard to follow by people of weak minds but i believe with time, most Ghanaians would grow to understand certain things apart from them adding lies to build hatred for the GRA. Your videos are great and i like the nuances of the planning side of things. Accra is the capital city of Ghana and i like how the government is working hard to help in the calculation of Taxes so that the common people would get a vivid understanding of things.
The Ghana Revenue Authority was never charmed with regards to sales the company made. However, ignorance on the part of the company they deal with might have caused all these problems. There was nothing like the company massaging figures to suit themselves if you don't want to get yourself into the same lies and plots pushed against the GRA. The slippery investments of the company caused the fall of both their dividends and marketing strategy. But before that, they had angered the personnels of the GRA and so they had to change their former position on what the GRA had to say. Thanks for all the valuable insights and why i devotedly recommend your channel to acquaintances harboring aspirations of venturing into the captivating realms of investing.
Thanks for this educative platform because it will help our women understand clearly what they have long not understood. However, i have a question and the question is: if a Real Estate developer is looking to get into a consulting business for large corporate sales, what is the best structure to minimize the tax burden? Also, what will be the deductions and credits you may be eligible for? How can they obtain an accountant to proceed with their business transactions in bookkeeping, corporate Tax, year end services and personal Tax services?
Hello, you may be eligible for reliefs and allowable deductions like SSNIT, mortgage interest, some donations, etc. You can visit the Chartered Institute of Accountants to hire an accountant who will be able to assist you in minimizing your tax burden.
In the event that the tax credit claimed by the withholdee is not matching the total amount credited in favour of the withholdee by GRA, what evidence will the withholdee use for reconciliation with GRA
The income of a young entrepreneur from the business of manufacturing, information and communication technology, agro processing, energy production, waste processing, tourism and creative arts, horticulture and medicinal plants has been exempted from tax for a period of five years.
I learnt filing and payment of taxes is now online so SSD personels assigned for communication with clients most clients feedback is filing and payments are done online

Only the TIN showing on the portal when WHT is filed is not enough. If you have filed a number of them, it’s not easy going through. Can the names be added??
