Hi thanks for the video it really helped, I wanted to let people know for removing the gray part instead of using a knife, you could use a metal spatula that also works if your are scared to break the glass or the metal. I also had a hard time removing the glass, it was already loose, so I just put warm water and soap in it eventually got in the nooks and crannies of the glass without moving the glass and cleaned it itself if you are too scared to remove the glass and break something.
So as a summary of the video you don’t have to remove the glass since the corners became loose little bit after you remove the horizontal gray part , when you flip it to wash it the water will get under the glass and get drained from the corners❤
Thank you so much for the video. Samsung customer service was USELESS! They kept referring me to a video of model that did not apply to the Bespoke. TWICE! Whoever designed this, has never cleaned a fridge in their live. IDIOTIC! Horrible design.
Yeah, I'm thinking this model isn't Bespoke, but I can't be sure. It's not like the Samsung documentation is any good. lol! Glad my video helped you. 🙂
Yeah, same here, which is why I made the video. I'm hoping to prevent the same distress for others. Hopefully you found the video before you got too frustrated.
Thank goood! Somebody make the research I spoke to Samsung support several times and send emails showing the problem, finally my fridge is clean. Thank you, you have a new suscriber from MX
Good to know. I think any Samsung refrigerator is a candidate for having this design, unfortunately. I love Samsung products, but this is the dumbest design ever.
Thanks for this video! I will never buy a Samsung again! How could they make me have to do this much work and nearly break the thing when my whirlpool just set in on the top... That's it. Just push up from the bottom and your done. This is rediculous!
Darrel doing the lords work a million videos and not one on this model, god bless you man! I was having trouble taking the plastic off, my wife had the idea of just hosing it down with pressured water and it worked like a charm, no need to damage the plastic!
Yep! God said "Make this video." I'm just being obedient. lol Great idea your wife had. I think as long as you're careful, you can remove that plastic strip without damage. I didn't damage ours and I wasn't yet sure of what I was doing. You might be able to tell that after I found the solution to the first step that I was kinda winging it after that, but it all worked. If I had to make the video over again, I'd do it a little differently (and also have my wife watch what she's filming more closely - lol), but I think this video works so there's no need to re-shoot it. It's helping a lot of people, so I'm happy about that.
God bless you. I felt like I was going crazy!! I was scouring the Internet and couldn’t find a thing! Why isn’t this in the manual?! Liquid can get in there so easily I don’t understand why they made this impossible to clean
Thank you, Kyla! Yeah, the lack of documentation and ability to find anything helpful anywhere is what prompted the video. I couldn't let other people suffer like I did. Hopefully people are using the model number to search for the video, because there are so many other videos out there that aren't helpful at all, and if they don't search by model, they might not find this one, though I did put a lot of key words in there for searching. And, yeah, we got liquid under our glass probably within a month of having this fridge. Kids. lol
Yeah, same. Kept waiting for it to break, but it's more flexible than we think, I guess. I'm not gonna test HOW flexible, though. lol Glad the video helped you.
Now that my blood pressure has returned to a normal level I’d like to say thank you for taking the time to explain this obnoxious design. My shelf is clean, my wife is happy and now I may rest.
You are very welcome! And I must confess that it was also my wife that drove me to find a solution, because I really didn't care that much. lol But after being asked to figure it out and going through all the other videos, documentation, and websites, none of which were the least bit helpful, I felt compelled to make this video, just for the rest of you. I'm glad it's helping people.
@@pumpknhd - hey thanks for your offer to help, but i got it sorted. previously i didn't have physical access to the unit or i would have taken my own pics of it. anyhow, thanks again!
@@shitstinx No problem! Glad you got it sorted out. I did take a video of it, but it's got to be the most niche video ever. Glad I don't have to post it now. lol
Truly, and sadder still that it has to be the customers who show each other how to do things because Samsung doesn't have appropriate documentation for their own stuff.
It was just a sound recording with no video. I made it a "video" so that I could post something for my friends. At least you could hear the music, though, right? And the screaming child. LOL
