Why do they always make smart people socially awkward on TV? I've known some very smart people, and they were all brilliant conversationalists. Smart people understand the need to communicate their ideas (especially if they need grant money for one of their pet projects).
Scorpion as a show had all the characteristics to be a great show. Then the writers got arrogant that they could do nonsense and get away with it. Making Walter look incompetent yet he was supposed to be highly intelligent was not a good decision. I read all the time geniuses see the world different than others who are deemed normal. The reality is everyone sees the world from their own perspective shaped by experiences. Walter wasn't incompetent nor was he void of feelings and emotions. He was a social introvert who actually had a good handle on his own emotions. He just never understood why others didn't. The end of the show was just downright wrong with everyone blaming him and walking out. Only person with a handle on the situation at the end was Cabe.
This show and chuck really makes angry because I love both of them so much and but hate the way the a left off with scorpion and how Chuck ended. Like wtf can’t we ever get the geeks to fully get the love story ending.
I HATE the way they ended this series….they could have done a few episodes to wind up the character relationships properly. AND PAIGE should be ashamed of how she reacted to Walter going to a seminar with Florence. She told him to tell little white lies to save people’s feelings, so then she abandons him when he does and this after he tried telling her several times and she didn’t let him finish his statements, but cut him off???? Seriously what a hypocrite! He doesn’t love anyone but Paige and she dresses him down when he’s doing exactly what she’s “taught” him to do…..HATE the way she destroyed his feelings…what were the writers thinking????? OR COULD THIS BE A DREAM SEQUENCE?????
The writer's wanted to do one more season but ratings were dropping with every new season and it was unlikely that we would be getting one more so they thought that if they ended the season on a cliff-hanger then CBS would be more likely give them one last shortened season to wrap things up (that's why the characters were all acting unlike their usual selves eg. both Paige and Sylvester overreacting over something ridiculous and the team being split into two but CBS didn't care enough to find out what happens next, it got cancelled and nothing was wrapped up. It was a big gamble on the producer's side to end the season how they did and in the end it didn't pay off for anyone and we will never get the ending we all deserved to watch which is a shame. I like to think Ralph got them all back together again :)
I was downloading the episodes right after they aired and then bought the DVDs so it's a mix of downloaded video and better quality DVD videos. It's been so long but think they were through itunes (now apple tv). You might also be able to get them through Amazon now.
You cannot make any money if you use videos from tv shows or movies (tv shows and movies have copyrights) whether you add music or not. All the videos I made were for fun, not to make money.
I'll never forgive CBS for this one mistake they made, cancelling this gem. I get that Scorpion was not everyone's cup of tea, but they should've thought about the other side and gave us a decent one more season, or even a couple of episodes, for CLOSURE. I think we deserved that.
Got a mayor like what Walter used to be you mention anything to her one ear out the other just like at a city meeting she does what she pleases like when someone says we could have had this done months ago she acts like she does not care she I am begging her through this post not to run for mayor again and she can use some time on the couch so could her staff thanks Toby
I yelled that yesterday coming home from family dollar in my town when i saw a near collision between two bad drivers but then a person from the funeral home near by heard me and i said sorry you had to witness that but i have had enough of people's crazy driving and he said he had heard worse man i took a page from Sylvester's book
If only I had a job like Walter when I was younger to schedule a break up from an ego driven boyfriend on I would have done it too bad it happened a different way
