@@chrisredditt8569 it could be the tumblr in the steering column not letting you start. I've seen that happen to other vehicles in the past. I would probably say you have 2 different problems. My wife traded that in on a Ford escape years ago so I can't even remember now especially since the escape has many of it's own problems.🙄
I was teaching my kids how to run the camcorder at the time so it was hard to concentrate on two things at once. I notice in my videos I miss pointing out details.
I have a machine right now that someone wired the same way. Trying it determine if the fuel shut off solenoid is bad on mine. It starts and runs great then it will just click at times. One time when it did start it ran a few seconds then shut off. Did you have to rewire the circuit of just replace the fuel shut off solenoid?
Ultimately what was wrong was the tank was extremely dirty and the fuel shut off would go shut on the bottom of the tank plus the spare wire would open the electric shut off valve on the fuel pump side of the engine which is separate from the actual electric fuel shut off when you turn the key off. Sound like a headache, cause it was and that was over the time span of over a year of investigation. Now someone has it and blown out the hyd lines on the right side of the wheel motors which is underneath the skid steer. I said stay away from me with it!!! I thought I did a section of where I removed the shut of drain from the tank where I cleaned it and drilled it out with a 3/8 bit so it would not plug or go shut since it has a great fuel filter! That helped.
Can you do a video on how to change the hydraulic oil on the mustang? I just bought a used 2054 and don’t know much about it and can’t find a service manual anywhere , thanks
I do not own that 2040 and the one who does doesn't take care of their equipment so I stay away. Sorry! But I think it should have a large oil filter on the left side next to the tank. But, like you, I couldn't find a manual either so without a picture I really don't know. I will look at a few sites I know and comment later.
I just looked on machinerytrader.com and seen 2 2054's that had the large spin on oil filter on the left as you open the rear door. I have not been able to find any type of service manuals either. If you go to Machinerytrader.com and go to skid steers and then it will show you the names of manufacturers, then go to mustang and you'll see a list, go down to 2054 and it will show you the listing for them. Go down to the last one from Tennessee an you could probably call then for any help you might need. I hope that will help you out!
