This reminds me of my teen days, sitting in my room with my eyes closed listening to stuff like John Petrucci, Joe Satrioni, Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert... amazing moments in music. I like the sound Chimaira has. It's dark and crunchy yet soft and melodic. If I was to paint of picture of this it would be heaven and hell blended together
Nice mate. If I painted this it'd be a man sailing in calm seas for the first act, then when the gain kicks in, he's hit by an immense storm. Battling furious wind and seas, gripping on for dear life. When all the sudden, there's calm again. Is it over, is it ending? Unknown to the sailor, it's the eye of the hurricane.
