My name is Matthew but known as Odyssey64 here and I'm just a guy who loves video games especially the Splatoon series. I may upload at weird and inconsistent times but I try to make enjoyable content regardless. In Splatoon, I main the Roller class and Splatanas. I'm also getting into Source Filmmaker (SFM) and I am nowhere near an expert at it. One last thing, I respect everyone's opinions and you are free to express them as long as they are expressed in a fair and calm manner. Also Callie is the best Splatoon idol ;) NEW FEATURE! I don't think your opinion is invalid, but I disagree with this list. Here's what I think differently about: 1. The Elf. Easily goes in "The Best!", because it has target one, target all, heal all, and restoration/damage reduction moves. Forest Aegis is Mage's Barrier for low MP, Heal All is Panacea for low MP, Dancing Arrow is a guaranteed Stunner that works on all stunnable enemies, counter arrow is very useful, and Hail of Arrows is Giga Lightning for less than half the MP of the Mage. 2. The Thief. Yes, it gets decent damage on all enemies, but all in all, it's only good if the player uses them. Rock Rain and Whirlwind/Phantom Blades are RNG Based, and Trap & Giga Trap are all right, but cost a lot of MP. They're mid. 3. The Princess is actually pretty good, having MP-powered attacks that are very powerful and Escort & High Tea are versatile moves that don't fail you at a high level.
In my opinion, with the personalities, any healer should be stubborn as it’s good except from its “refuse healing” quirk, but obviously it can’t refuse healing from itself. Magical attackers should be laidback because it can save mp and do half damage but also use the same amount of mp for double damage. And any physical attacker should be energetic or cool, but that’s just my opinion
this tierlist is a crime: the essay. miitopia is a very easy jrpg to introduce children the wonderful world of jrpgs! its stat balancing is awful and nintendo doesn't know how to make good classes not completely outclass bad ones. but, that's not for me to judge. and while i understand not liking certain jobs, it's also very difficult to see from different points of view if you've played a lot of the game yourself. first off, let's start with flower. which is definitely the most overhated job while not really being deserved. while yes, the flower ai is complete garbage, that is the most of its flaws. generally, the flower is supposed to be really good early game that you replace it with your cleric, with the cost of its ai being unfathomably awful. constantly spams flower power when it learns it and it doesn't know how to use its own healing moves. however, if you're in control, it is the best healer in the game without a doubt, at least in the early game. it learns a revive move earlier than cleric and costs less mp, it learns its equivalent of mega cure at level 8, but most of all it can actually deal damage when it doesn't have any healing to do. it's genuinely a great job that got a bad rep for something that should've never happened in the first place. thief, ooooh how much thief deserves to be hated. while it's a very cool job in terms of style, it doesn't have much going for it. it's supposed to be an aoe attacking specialty but because of that, you just canNOT control anything with the thief and its gameplay feels like absolute garbage. the primary quirk of the other aoe basic attack users is that pop star is a support and shouldn't use it often, flower is a healer and should use it if aoe needs to be used, and vampire learns THREE DIFFERENT AOE ATTACKS, while still actually being really good. thief is meant to be fairly high damage but at that point, just use warrior spin slash or tank laser, they're both phenomenal options for aoe while also being physical beasts. i'm not done but remind me to come back and finish this i'm tired
The lore is INCREDIBLY crippled by its rating. Show us what happens when a spawn point doesn't have any power, and for God's sake KILL THE OLD MAN, HE IS LITERALLY CAUSING EVERY PROBLEM WITH THE OCTARIANS
Hmmm I don’t think agree, because with limitations comes creativity for story writing and character design. Yes I do agree they should expand on the lore and talk more in depth, but just slapping a teen label won’t fix any of their lazy practices. Regardless I appreciate your video and hearing your thoughts!
"colorful on the outside, dark on the inside" is quite literally every splatoon game. Splatoon 2 touched on death in the Octo Expansion through implication in a more gruesome manner than just splatting them, and Splatoon 3 doesn't even need extra payment for disturbing stuff.
Cool Take on The Story, If I could Tell a Story Set in the World of Splatoon. It would be The Concept of an An Octolings who went Under the Control Of the Hypno goggles From Splatoon 1. To which an AI Inside The Goggles begins Changing This Octoling's Behaviour, From Amateurish and Friendly, To Smart, methodical, But Less emotional. Becomes Scarily good. The Octolings Then Finds each Splatoon 1 weapons, and The upgrade station that's been abandoned. The Octoling Upgrades his Weapon, like you would in the Main game, But Keeps the Upgrades outside of the campaign. The AI Inside the Hypno goggles Changes the Octoling's Body To Compress Every Weapon, Sub weapon and Special. Stealing A Zap fish, the Hypno Goggles Manage to Summon The octo Stamper. Creating a Great Deal of Chaos. The Ending of This Chapter would have The Octoling face off against Agent 3. Then Lose.
While I’ll admit this one was alright for the time this was a rushed production all things considered. I plan on making a better opening animation for Team Hero not only because I’m better at animating and I have more time, but also because I am now more certain about how the story is gonna go. If you’re reading this after the second opening is released I highly recommend you show that one way more love than this one 😂. Still appreciate the support though!
