Hi @allentodd2070, Thanks! We couldn't make every border post in a single trip. We were satisfied that we covered the stretch. But, for next time we can make a note of visiting the ones we missed :)
I really appreciate your great video. I am an eighty year young Cape Town boytjie who knows and loves the George area well. Your natural, pleasant coverage rests very well with me! We live in the most beautiful part of Africa, and you are supporting this wonderful privilege very well! Keep up the good work!
Groete
Thanks for a very informative and interesting channel, just one correction Knysna and Nature's Valley are in the Western Cape. Eastern Cape starts from Cape St Francis.
Thank you...that was lovely...my mum grew up in knysna, and it was really nice to see sites of childhood visits...happy exploring and God bless your travels :)
Thanks for your contribution! We're hoping to make many more videos and trips :) I think different people and sources shows the border between the Indian and the Atlantic ocean at different places. In our video at Agulhas (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WWYG6Y-6AJ0.html), they're saying the two oceans meet there. But all I know is, in Cape Town it's really cold to swim and in Durban it's nice and hot. In-between.. who knows... :D
Kleinmond is my Home Town and officially is still fronted by the Atlantic Ocean. One should not let the effect of the warmer Mozambique Current coming Southwards down the East Coast (as part of the Indian Ocean) and being pushed into Walker Bay, fool one into thinking otherwise.
Hi Banana Camper, we didn't stay over in Agulhas this time around. Can't recommend a campsite, but there are a couple in the area, also Struisbaai and a bit further to Arniston. Also check out the National Parks in the area. They've got specials every now and then.
@@ExploreLifeWithUs thank you. Checking on the reviews they don’t seem to be very safe, maybe I’ll stay in a chalet somewhere. We are planing a trip from joburg to cape town , then Hermanus agulhas mossel bay of 2-3 weeks in march next year.
@@ExploreLifeWithUs thank you , just published my last video on Monday. Still learning it , the idea is to give my sincere opinion on the campsites for my agulhas trip I want create a series with one episode poet strop along the way, let’s see how it is going to work.
Stunning scenery, thanks for sharing. Please if you will, include the nature sounds in your videos as it gives viewers a feeling of actually being there and adds to the ambience ❤
I know what you mean. We've seen SO MANY different areas on this mission. Deserts, Beaches, Tropics, Forests, Glades, fields etc and it's mindblowing that you can find all of this in one country. And all of it is really stunning! SA really gets a bad reputation when it comes to news and politics, but when you go out there, there is much more positives.
