James Marsters was the voice of Nosferatu because he played a vampire (Spike) in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the spin-off Angel. Also, they made the vampire an anthropomorphic vampire bat. Clever (plus, he has sharp, enlarged incisors like a real vampire bat as well as a tribute to Orlok's design in the original Nosferatu).
Even if that's true, I think the metaphor still works. Every challenge or obstacle presented in high school doesn't necessarily end with high school. Some of them even become traumas that stick around longer than Spike did. His character could still be looked at as a representation of long-term struggles, our ability to adapt, and what it can look like when we start viewing our problems from a different perspective. We might even come to find that, sometimes, growth can be learning to make allowances for things that we used to view only as problems to be eradicated - rather than continuing to let our focus prevent us from finding hidden value in the experience or the wisdom to be gained. Sometimes, the answer or resolution is not immediately clear and can completely surprise us when it's finally revealed. 🖤
WOW! I just stumbled onto this video. I remember you. You used to come into my work in Modesto Ca. My Teddy Shop in fun works. I do believe my son and I also ran into you and your son at Game Stop one day, I couldn't resist playing the New guitar hero game. Well anyhow... I've listened to some of your music.
Oh my goodness it's you. You were the one that used to come into my teddy bear shop in Modesto Ca at Fun works. WOW such a long time ago. You and your son there. And If I remember right we both were at Game stop one time with our sons as well. LOL My son was wanting me to talk to you. Well I love the music. I stumbled onto it and there you are. Crazy. Well keep doing that thing you do. Thanks for sharing your love of music.
@@jamiemarstersOops, well anyhow... It was interesting to come across this and recognize a face from my past. The music is great. Thanks for sharing. Oh and thanks for replying.
Well let me say you really haven't aged that much, you still look amazing but with that said, if you are concerned about it, Spike did gain his soul back so maybe that could be a way they could incorporate his aging process.... And the use of makeup could help as well.. problem solved!
I am music journalist and major fan out of Oregon do you guys have any scheduled events coming up I would love to be able to do photography and maybe even schedule an interview with the band sometime.
I'm not actually James Marsters, sorry. Just a fellow fan. They don't currently have any gigs scheduled, but you can pose your question to the band's Instagram at @ghostoftherobot & they should get back to you. ☺ - Jamie
No, I'm just a fellow fan. James' official RU-vid channel is @JamesMarstersOfficial. He & his son Sullivan also post on their @JamesMarstersandSon channel. - Jamie
Hey James I'm not sure if you remember me cuz you probably meet so many people all the time but I think I met you in person at the dragon Con in Atlanta Georgia back in 2009 I told you my mom loved you and Buffy the vampire Slayer and we both got a picture together anyway the reason I'm texting you is I was hoping they would bring back a TV show that I used to love and I think you'd be cool to be in it this TV show happened in the '80s you might have watched it it was about a helicopter and I think that if they was to bring this show back on television you would be really cool in it The show of course was called airwolf most people do not know about this awesome TV show and I think you would be great in that show if they was to bring it back or reboot it The show is created by a man named Donald bellasaro who of course made Magnum PI among other '80s television shows but this show was my absolute favorite In case you do not know what airwolf was about airwolf was a government created helicopter a prototype that could fly as fast as a jet with its turbo thrusters it also had defense mechanisms to keep from being shot down as well as bulletproof as well as it had 14 firepower options on the Wing pods where the landing gear come out and in it had 30 mm 40 mm cannons that would conceal into the helicopter like James Bond The guns would pop in and out of the helicopter as well as the mistle turret that they called an ADF pod would come out of the belly in and out of the belly of the helicopter and in every television episode they would fly this helicopter on missions they would also hide this helicopter in a mountain but mostly they got this idea from a movie called Blue thunder and the reason why the weapons would be concealed is because of the concept that was on their badges a wolf in sheep's clothing James if you haven't seen this TV show you ought to check it out it was like one of the top 1980s television shows
Metaphor my ass. It was about a skinny chick kicking ten kinds of ass. It's why the director ended up ruining the character of river in the movie of firefly - because he knew he wouldn't get his fetish played out on the big screen otherwise. He waited to long to get a Buffy movie. (His Buffy movie anyway, I liked the original Buffy movie.)
James would make an awesome drama teacher !!! I would have loved to have someone as passionate about Shakespeare when i was taking drama in school eons ago .
