She was one of the best standup comedians who ever took to the stage. A lot of comics, Amy Schumer for one, imitate the little throwaway lines - “me, too,” “I know” -she tossed in between her expositions. They say she might tour again, like Seinfeld after his show was over. I hope she does, and that running that talk show didn’t wear her out.
How is the last trick done: Backstage assistant Jeff writes the three audience provided words on the folded paper. The paper is then place on the back of the chair. When the Amazing Jonathan climbs down from the backstage-chair he stealthy grabs the folded paper hiding it behind the envelope. He then tears open the envelope and pulls the folded paper from behind the envelope. The folded paper is never really ever inside the hanging envelope. Thank you so much. Be sure to tip your servers. Good night and keep on being your own magic self.
