Sir , I am planning to own a z650rs .but it only has 125mm ground clearence which is very poor for my country roads i want to increase it to 140mm minimum can the stock suspension on max preload increase it to 140ish ?? Or should i change the shock at the rear and springs at the front to get more gc
Is there a difference between the street tripple 660 vs 660 s in regards to the intake restriction and the tuning capacity? Because from what I've heard, the 660 has 74 bore x 51.1 stroke with a 12.85:1 comp ratio , where the 660 s has 76 bore x 48.5 stroke and 12:1 comp. Aside from the cylinder changes I just wonder what else could be different. Thanks!
Bro why does almost every exhaust video on youtube show nothing how the exhuast sounds.. the video was 45 seconds long and 3 seconds of exhaust sound lol useless. Thumbs down.
Is there nothing that can be done about the intake noise? I just did the stage two on mine and the power increases great but the intake noise at full throttle actually is louder than the full LV exhaust.
Hi there,so Im looking at this very bike, but 2016 lams, thats allegedly been deresticted, and seller says he has the dynotune as proof. He has also tokd me where it was done,so that should be enough proof right? For insurance purposes im tokd i have to change from lams to full power bike at TMR,is this correct? Thanks
Hello I just fit one on my GSXR 600. Is there a setting for it to work at max RPMs or will it just work all the way to redline from standard settings? Thanks. 😊
Hey mate, do you have a video for the moto morini 650 adventure bikes? 61hp in other markets but 48hp here, apparently just a software limit. Pretty awesome bikes for the price, had to drop the hp to keep them lams.
wtf 660 with less than 50 stock? whats the reason? license type legislation? emissions? is it just to be 660 for people buy it as a 660 so they can say 660 ? I mean mt-03 has 42,0 PS horses out of half the hp. fourth less torque or something. (edit: oh at motor vs wheels i suppose, but still)
Licence legislation. To be a LAMS Learner approved motorcycle scheme bike. Must be less than 660cc and under 48hp from memory. Figures may be inaccurate, but that's the essence of it. CC is irrelevant my W800 only makes 48hp.
Just to clarify. We design our tunes from the ground up right here in Melbourne. After intensive testing it's released in the market. Testing and checking continues even after that to ensure you are buying the best tune for Australia and New Zealand market
I think you met 70 foot pounds of torque not horsepower because it comes with more than 70 stock but you would be correct on the torque is just under 50 you brought it up to 70
Thanks so much Dave for taking the time and effort to show us all the process you go thru to tune a bike’s fuel map and as a consequence revitalise it’s torque and hp curves. I have a 99 Busa with a PC3, Akra full system and Yoshi stage 1 cams and I’m running a generic dyno tune free map which is ok… but not like a fine tune would be. One day I’ll get it it tuned by our local dyno guy (good reputation) and optimise the power and fuel economy. Once again, thanks for all you show us!
If i dont get a tune but i get a aftermarket exhaust and i remove the cables but leave the servo electronics alone and leave the servo in will i throw a code
Just to clarify, this lams version is 655cc not 689cc like the high output version. So one would assume if you did similar work to a 689cc you may get a higher hp figure.
