I'd question whether you play much official... yes, that's a damaging move, but on official, you need to go to homecave to change abilities. That means you run the other claw, which is essential for fighting smaller dinos and surviving attacks. If you run cruel swipe, you are at a big advantage against apexs but left vulnerable to lighter creatures. I feel like they make official dinos for the official playstyle and not community servers where you can just switch out on the fly, so in a way, it is kinda fair.
Lmao, i was a admin on this server and i remember just sitting in spectate watching the fights amazed at how 2 spoons could take on and kill so manny deinos. Really good fight both of you’s.
Kind of agree kind of don’t because a mid tear will destroy it easy so if you want a counter run a mid tear. I think the devs were trying to give people who don’t want to run a meta apex all the time a chance to survive
What about people who run solo apexes and they have 3 rexes chasing them and an achillo doing chucks of thier hp in 1 atack? Megapacks are annoying even if they arent all apex, look at dasp and ano rn. But this video is old now, so cruel swipe got a well deserved nerf.
@ElwinoDaDino you can't spam thrash now, they've increased its cooldown and also they nerfed armoured tail from 90 odd percent reduction to 25 percent
I love seeing encounters like this on that server. Just one or two players absolutely wrecking all the big groups. In game it's always massive mixpacker groups that kos constantly, so this made my night. Lol. Also, that conc was a mad lad. Hats off.
that sachi and deino fight scared the shit outa me LOL. Got bonebroken and I started panicking cuz sachi op. Thinking back to it, I probably should've just turned and face tanked, but idk. Glad we both lived :]

Theres a reason rats got nerfed, they were way to strong for a toe sized creature. Achillo's swipe is getting a rework for the reason of it being stupidly op. 8 shoting a rex with a mid tier is wild.

Video was taken a while back, giga back then could easily deal with eo but its turn got destroyed so i thought with my buff i can facetank it like rex does, but i greatly underestimated it.
I only ever find people there so saddly as much as i would like to show fights in different areas, I cant... specially as an apex, i hardly ever find people to fight outside of IC or GP...

09:16 I definitely hope the devs (not mod devs actual devs lol) make it so aoe attacks can only land on the leg or something or at least do less damage to the tail, its really insane and on top of that most modded sauropods in this game do nuts damage with their aoe attacks 🤣

@@zeno_xy9669 normally the damage should be 80 fully charged i think, but servers change that around sometimes, example islander has it at 60... so check the server's discord for stat changes!
Tbf bleed does damage over time lol so I think its weird to say bulldoze is better in EVERY way, especially when it consumes stamina as well, Ive used bleed giga before and its completely fine
Land speed is the best for fighting, but its getting removed some time in the future, so defense will be the best after that. Defense is still goated rn tho.
I hope they don't nerf it, I haven't played the game in a while and this motivates me to come back. I was tired of people with apex doing boring things and that we mid-tier couldn't fight them unless we were 4 or 5. With dinos like this you avoid mixpacking because you give players more opportunities
Its definitely strong, but I’m a big believer that its strong because its feature complete, not because it ls over powered. Achillo, rhamph, and hatz are arguably the only true “feature complete” playables in the game. The rest are not even close, with as many as 13 less abilities than the 3 feature completes. Once the other dinos get their 20+ abilities, achillo will be put into a comfortable place
Spino, unlike rex, doesnt benefit much from stomp, claws and tail do good enough damage and you can move while doing them, aswell as spinos really good turn. I dont recommend stomp personally. But if you do use stomp, just know that if you fight a spino with traction, you will most likely lose if he knows what hes doing.
