I’m stuck on row 7. I’ve redone it three times and always come up with 48 or 47 stitches. The total number of row 7 suggests you only increase twice in the whole row. Going from 42 to 44 stitches. But 6/44 is 7.66 so that’s way more increases than allowed by the final numbers.
Thank you, this is such a cute pattern. ♥️ 🐓 Just a suggestion, if you’re having a hard time seeing the stitches and the instructor, try slowing down the playback speed… I put my playback speed to 0.25X and it really helped. Today I made my first chicken! 👏🏻 😉
I keep getting stuck on R8, nothing is wavy and all the stitches are correct and then when I get there suddenly it's floppy and I get more than 56 stitches. please heeeeelllppppp
The piece itself is the best I have seen so far. So it's upseting to see that the tutorial on how to make it is actually awful.. I can't tell what you are doing and the on screen descriptions are extremely lacking. I know how to crochet decently but I still can't tell what is going on in this video. I would highly suggest either redoing the video or making a written pattern please.
Cute idea but the written instructions aren’t 100% clear and the instructions don’t really match what you do in the video either , as a beginner I can definitely say this is not “super easy and beginner friendly “ with the way it was instructed . Great work though 😊
Idk why this happens but every time I try making a circle it starts to curve and form like a cup shape. I tried this and I ended up making a little cat plushie cuz it wasn’t working for me. Someone pls explain to me how to prevent this 😭😭
by inc does it mean to increase by 1 sc or 2sc, inc means after 1 chain in sl st increase by 2 sc in 1 chain then increase by 1 sc in next chain? still hoping for reply even thats year ago
Row 4 makes no sense to me sc increase repeate now does this =28 it says x7 is the rest sc? Also you don’t put when you chain so now I’m not sure if I should chain for row 8 -10
It is sc,inc,sc x7 so sc in one stitch, then next stitch is 2 sc in same stitch, then sc in next stitch =4 sc in a total of 3 stitches. Then you repeat that 6 more times which will equal 28. At the end of each round you slip stitch then chain to start the next round.
The written directions and the on-screen directions do not match. For example, in Row 5, the repeat in the on-screen directions says sk1, 6dc, sc. The written directions say: sk1, 6dc, sk1, sc1. This is a huge proofreading error and should have been corrected.
I just made one. It took me about an hour. It was very hard to follow and I had to redo some parts because I just couldn’t follow what I was supposed to do. Turned out cute but I had to kinda make some stuff up as I went.
Row 4: Single crochet, then increase, then single crochet. You should have 28 stitches total in that row. Row 5: single crochet, then increase. You should have 35 total stitches in that row! :)
