Gaslighting is manipulating factual information to give the victim the impression that they cannot trust themselves. The character of Dr Tony Jones endured a lifetime of gaslighting and figuratively became a ghost before the character was ever killed off. Sure, contracts were negotiated, and he was just a foil for Frisco, Bobbie and Luke, at least. Yet only a long-term soap opera character could slowly, progressively decline from sometimes sensitive, sometimes self-righteous conviction and commitment into incomprehensible demoralization, and then, after subjecting others to maniacal, yet truthful and at times hilarious, fits of rage, become ever more entangled in unhealthy relationships in an exhaustive effort to rehabilitate himself.
Ned and Michael work together now no thanks to Jason but inspite of Jason just goes to show Q nature is stronger then whatever poison Carly, Jason and Sonny tried to fill Michael with.......that said Ned was a prick here
how dare you jack what I have jacked from another man.....always wish Tony had someone who could stand in his corner when everybody turned aganist him family, friends had Jason and the mob breathing down his neck......maybe Frisco could have came back would have been interesting he would offered support and legit resistance to Jason and the mob.
Aww, even though Luke is all drugged up lol, love how he calls his sister (my fave GH relationship) the most beautiful woman he's seen in his whole life. 🥰 Only TG can be this hilarious and sweet at the same time.
I think it shows about organ donars. its so important. My 22 year old sister passed away to a tragic car . I wish now would couldve donated. my sister was very healthy. But the crash hurt her head at the age of 22. My parents said no. she was to badly hurt
I hate what GH did to Tony. Turns out he was right. Lucas needed him so many times. Bobbie was torn down the middle because Wiley is her great grandson and with the switch, her grandson. But Julian failed Lucas. I’m glad Lucas remembered Tony was his real father. Why couldn’t Tony have left PC to help Frisco instead of dying? Then he could come back for Lucas. Plus it would have been a good story arc after Bobbie’s death if he and Carly buried the hatchet.
I loved Tony! He was such a sweetheart, the tragic hero of his Era. Widowed, lost his daughter in an accident, got shot, and used by at least 3 women, and then they wrote him out tragically 😢. Life was out to get him.
😢 sympathy greetings from coastal Mississippi. Have watched General Hospital since 1984 to present. Port Charles New York. This time period broke my ❤️ heart, to this day it still gets to me.
😢 sympathy greetings from coastal Mississippi. Watched General Hospital since 1984. BJ passing in 1994, brought me to tears. 2024,30years later still aches my ❤️
I was already in tears with this great storyline, but I totally lost it when Tony bends down to listen to his daughter’s heart beating in his niece’s chest. Omg, I’m even in tears as I’m posting this comment. Especially since this was mentioned at Bobbie’s funeral.
This shows the difference between Tony & Alan. Alan could handle certain things, while Tony didn't like the loss of control he felt with the Damien & Bobbie situation.
Okay, see, the problem-for me-at this point, Bobbie is only trying so hard to reconcile, is because she found out everything with Damien was nothing but a bet
"What's in the way?", what's in the way is you, your treatment of Tony the last few months and the fact that you're only trying so hard because you found out everything with Damien was a bet.
I think deep down, Tony wanted to comfort Bobbie right here. But he wouldn't allow himself to. Merry Christmas. I hope your day was joyous. Have a blessed, and safe New Years...🎄🎉🙂
