I have this MultiMic. It has been an excellent addition to my Jabra hearing aids. Now I can stream sound from my Mac computer to my hearing aids. Another excellent product that helps me stay connected to the world!
Absolute junk. and worse few hearing sales people explain this product only works with Apple phones. bought an Android phone off the suggested list and still wont connect. Not everyone in the world buys into the arrogance of Apple products. Why would any company build products without any consideration for most of the world not using an apple product.
Thank you so much for taking the time. This is the best video on the subject. I'm like your wife and now my husband can hear me. I'm going to start wearing it like a necklace.
Now use this when out shopping or dinning with the wife. She wears it on the lanyard. Downside is fabric brushing sounds when she’s walking. She can be more than 10 yards away and I can clearly understand her voice.
Recently bought one of these mics and its fantastic......It did get me into a fight though I heard a guy bad mouthing my Wife when I was at the bar because of the mic.
Compared to a Roger Pen, the The Multi Mic is just as good when neck-worn, or laid on a table. The Roger Pen has an addition of a directional mode (interview mode) that lets you point it at a particular speaker which can be nice. Roger also has the ability to network more than one microphone which can be helpful for large meetings. In schools, if there is more than one student who needs a remote mic, Roger will work with most brands of hearing aids and CIs, the MultiMic will only work with Resound or Cochlear. Basically, Roger can give more options for mics and compatibility, but if it's just for you with one on one conversations, or small meetings, the Multi Mic should be fine.
i have a set and work great, i have severe hearing loss since 7 years old, Dont go to Oticon they are nothing but problems, i Wear a head band will working outside in severe humidity. if one drop a sweat or rain get inside you will hear it whistles. all you have to do is grab a blow dryer or use the vent from car and turn fan high to warm air give 2 min or less and Boom.. your back in business. you can also turn microphone off for outside sound and only hear the phone or music. Great for riding a motorcycle. Not to mention i am now a student pilot for 3 year now and hear my flight instructor no problem while flying helicopter. Anyone has any issues or need advice, contact me anytime. Resound Enzo model EN998-DW is what i am using. Bill Dolan.
I have some hearing loss, hard to hear in groups, TV ...no hearing aids yet per audiologist 9mos.ago. To revisit in August. Will this device’s microphone help me hear my own voice singing in a chorus? Part of my hearing loss is can’t hear own pitch... I am a retired RN & wondered about this amplification usage? Jeanne
You can plug it in to your phone using the 3.5mm cable and it will stream the sound from the phone to your hearing aids. You would need to talk in to the mics on the phone though. It won't connect via Bluetooth. Resounds makes a phone-clip that does connect to a cellular phone via Bluetooth and makes it fully hands-free though.
