Today, I had my second Honda Elevate test drive of the top model, the CVT ZX. However, I must say that it doesn't feel like a true Honda product; it only bears the Honda name. On rough roads, there is excessive cabin noise, especially in the back. The cabin is spacious enough and can be considered the best in its segment. However, the excessive noise is a major issue. The suspension needs significant improvement compared to market competitors like the Creta and Seltos, as well as accelerator noise while pressing the race pedal. I tried both slow and aggressive driving, but the result was the same. I'm not sure if the test drive model I used had specific issues, but I tried two test drives from different dealerships because the overwhelmingly positive reviews intrigued me. I have to wonder why the Creta and Seltos have had such peak sales performance. While I need a family vehicle for the long term, I don't want to rely solely on a brand name. I test drove the Hyryder, Seltos, Creta, Nexon, and Elevate, all in the petrol segment. However, I was disappointed by their price-to-performance ratio. This segment is particularly confusing for buyers in the 15 lakh price range. In my experience, the Grand Vitara is cheap market garbage for such a premium segment of 15-20 lakhs. I'm still confused about what to buy. If anyone has any good experiences with a good vehicle under 15 lakhs in May 2024, please let me know; it would be a great help.
In my opinion Seltos is also a great option but it does have less cabin space than elevate and also the best petrol naturally aspirated engine in the segment 1.5 iVtec in manual also Elevate is a lot cheaper from base to top model when compared to Seltos, Creta or Hyrder/Grand Vitara You mentioned Nexon which does not belong to this segment and is a smaller car compared to Brezza, venue, sonnet and Tata has a lot of after sales issues and all specially in the Newer cars due to lot of electronics. My suggestion would be Elevate is a better all round package but you could consider Seltos or Creta as well as your second option
@SatvikSharmaLifestyle Bekaar insulation in Elevate and car does not even look up market for 18L car. Honda City still looks upmarket and expensive. Creta's cabin is very silent compared to any car in the market, and the cabin looks upmarket. If only Honda Elevate had an interior like Honda HRV, it would have cut Creta Seltos's sales. Looks like Honda does not take the Indian buyers seriously.
@@poojabhatnagar3878 Honda still relies with Sedans in India & of course Honda City is still their more premium car & also Honda city had less competition too since a long time whereas I Dian buyers shifted towards SUV in all segments & Honda just came out with SUV quite late
Hanji cruise control hai lekin ZX top model mein yeh video mein VX hai CVT is also good on the elevate but if you accelerate too hard you will notice the engine noise otherwise it’s just good if you keep the RPM around 3000-3500 RPM
Ram Ram Bhaisaab I am also planning to purchase the Honda Elevate VX MANUAL Want to upgrade the tyre , any suggestion from your side as the aspect ratio of the tyre of Elevate is low as compare to creta, Seltos and vitara
Ram Ram bhaisaab 215/60 R17 you can buy it will make ride quality smooth because of 60 tyre wall instead of 215/55 R17 which comes in the car from Honda 60 side wall is also offered by Grand Vitara, Seltos & Crera in mid model but seltos & creta have 18 inch wheels in top model which has 215/55 R18 but ride quality becomes bouncy & less comfortable in that
It is based on the OmegaArc platform, which is re-engineered version of the Jaguar Land Rover D8 platform adopted by lot of models which are Range Rover Evoque, Discovery Sport and Jaguar E-Pace So it is Discovery DNA
Z4 Scorpio-N in diesel is a great choice also gets 4XPLOR which is 4X4 which harrier doesn’t have also Scorpio-N gets Mahindra’s own engine whereas Tata Diesel is the engine from Fiat which is a company of Jeep
